319w ago - User greeny69 over at the GameFAQs message boards managed to snag a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 two weeks ahead of the game's scheduled June 12 street date.

No one knows how, and we haven't heard reports of any retailers selling the game early.

Either way, this guy has it. And we're jealous.

They have provided some images (including one showing the basic controls) as proof, and say they might provide more details after the soccer game between England and USA.

Leaked Windows 7 Features Video Demonstration, Possible M2

322w ago - Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates noted during the Japan-Windows Digital Lifestyle Consortium, held in Tokyo on May 7, 2008, that the Redmond company was "hard at work" by his own measure on the next iteration of the Windows client referred to as Windows 7.

The product number practice coming to replace the traditional codename policy is the work of Steven Sinofsky, Senior Vice President, Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, and so is the deadening silence surrounding the operating system.

However, bits and pieces of Windows 7 slipping through the tight grip around the platform and its development process do exist. Case in point: a new video demonstration of a leaked copy of Windows 7 embedded below.

The author claims that the Windows 7 video highlights "some of the new features [including] redesigned Windows Explorer with 2-panel option, FTP/SFTP locations, a common folder with keyboard shortcuts, screen and animation capture, and best of all: an automated Website and blog designer," revealed Janek Dabrowski via Windows and Web Technology.

However, it is advisable to take the video with a grain of salt. The skepticism must be inherent, as there is no official or unofficial confirmation at this point in time that the operating...

It weighs in at 6.32 GB and appears to be the real deal, with unscrupulous individuals now posting gameplay clips on GameTrailers and the like, which will no doubt be swiftly taken down by Take-Two's legal team soon.

If you do happen to have a modded X-Box 360, we hope that you can wait six more days to purchase the real thing and not resort to illegal activities. :P

SEGA has yet to comment on the validity of the leaks, however below is a video courtesy of jeztac33:

SCEE Responds To Leaked Home Release Date

100°
330w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has issued a statement in response to the leaked memo that revealed release dates for a number of upcoming PlayStation Network releases, including Home.

To quote: Internal working documents naturally have proposed dates against titles, but these change frequently and dates are not confirmed until issued as part of a press release or formal announcement.

The same applies to titles of games, which may be working titles or placeholders subject to later confirmation. As a result, no weight should be given to titles or dates that appear in this document, other than to those which have already been formally confirmed.

In summary, the list is indeed real, but the dates on it are subject to change. :P
