To quote: 5.03 ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler - Team Typhoon (Article by Granite) So comes the release of the highly anticipated ChickHEN homebrew enabler by Team Typhoon.

Killzone 2: Battle the PS3 Dev Team Online Tomorrow

50°
282w ago - Guerrilla Games Producer Sebastian Downie has announced news of a Killzone 2: Battle the PS3 Dev Team competition tomorrow, as follows:

Many of you have been asking when we would have a 'Snipe the dev' event again like we had with Killzone 1 and Killzone: Liberation, and let me tell you that time is NOW!

Well, tomorrow anyway. Close enough. At 10:00AM Pacific on Tuesday, May 5 we are holding a "Guerrilla Warfare" event on the US servers to celebrate the release of our first DLC Pack: "Steel & Titanium," and to generally kick some ass.

I have assembled the most battle-hardened and skillful developers at Guerrilla Games to go onto the servers and take you through our two newest maps: "Wasteland Bullet" and "Vekta Cruiser," now available on the Playstation Store.

The developers at [Register or Login to view links] will be hosting some "Official games," which some of you will be able to join with passwords provided by the staff here at PlayStation.Blog. If you join those games, we'll take you on a tour of the new levels, talk about their development and generally hang out.

To receive the password and find out the room names, you'll have to follow the PlayStation.Blog Twitter account: [Register or Login to view links]....

Video: PSP 5.03 (HEN) Demo Available from Team Typhoon

250°
283w ago - A new video has emerged on the Internet from Team Typhoon, showing off a new HEN exploit for the semi-recent 5.03 firmware.

Here's his little note about the video:

This is a demo of the 5.03 firmware running the tiff exploit and booting into a HEN environment on a PSP 2003 (3000 Support also) on 5.03 Official Firmware.

This proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed. This is something that only can be done with a kernel exploit.

A video launching homebrew will be posted later.
