Video: Acekard Flash Cart Running on the Nintendo DSi

50°
319w ago - AceKardTeam has shared via YouTube a video of their flash cart working on the Nintendo DSi in a LAB environment. However, they admit that even though they can get it running, it is almost impossible to make a commercial product out of it.

To quote: This is a lab work, it works ONLY in LAB. Even though we can go this far, it is almost impossible to make a commercial product.

There is a major problem that can't be resolved, at least for now. It seems DSi did many sanity checks to make sure there is no more fcards.. we will keep researching and good luck to all.

BTW: We assume there are more than one modes on DSi, we still haven't found any way to access the SD card slot in origin DS mode.

Fallout 3: Can You RUN It?

50°
324w ago - Recently Bethesda released the requirements for the PC version of Fallout 3 which is scheduled to release this October 28th. I have to admit that the requirements are pretty forgiving, and won't cost one of your limbs.

Some people though are too lazy to check the requirements against their own machine or even at times they have no clue what kind of PC they own. Heck I know some people who think Hotmail, and the Internet are the same thing.

One of my favorite tools to use is SystemRequirmentLab's Can You RUN It? The application will ease the process of determining if your PC can run a specific game.

All you got to do is select the game, and bam! It does all the work for you. Recently they have uploaded Fallout 3, and you can now see or get confirmation if you have already manually determined, to see if your computer is ready to face post apocalyptic creatures!

This makes the PS3Eye ideal for multitouch applications. The best part is the price $39.99!

Now, the main problem with this camera is that there are no drivers for Windows. The camera's chipset info is virtually non-existent on the Web.

After examining the camera internals I found that it features the OV534-LB50 camera USB 2.0 bridge and the OV7720 CMOS VGA sensor. Both of these are made by OmniVision.

I started thinking to my self: "This camera is awesome and it will be such a great and inexpensive replacement for...

Disgruntled Ex-GameStop Employee Takes it to YouTube

300°
329w ago - Below is a video of YouTube rants from a former GameStop employee known only as 'WhistleBlowerZero', who has made a 9 part (!) series in the style of Zero Punctuation to explain exactly how bad GameStop is to employees and customers alike.

Many of the tidbits within will hardly be a surprise to anyone who's ever set foot in one of their stores and/or had the misfortune of working retail, but the series seems to be targeted more at the casual consumer and perhaps people who think working at GameStop sounds like a great job.
