Relativity is a game that re-imagines the laws of the universe. What if the normal rules of gravity no longer applied? The basic mechanic of the game is the ability to change gravity, allowing you to re-orient yourself to walk on walls and ceilings. In this world, up is down and down is up. It's all relative.

Let's take a look at what an early puzzle in the game is like. In the gif below, we need to get the purple block to stay on the purple square in order to unlock a door, but the block keeps sliding down. The solution: we lock the blue block in place while in the blue gravity, and then use it as a shelf to hold up the purple block.

What you just saw is the basic gameplay mechanic. But Relativity is more than just about stacking cubes - there is an entire world full of wonder and impossible...

12w ago - Indie Game Developer Matt Makes Games Inc Matt Thorson confirmed today that their TowerFall Dark World Expansion is coming in early 2015 to PlayStation 4.

To quote: It's hard to believe that it's been 8 months since TowerFall Ascension launched on PS4. I have to thank all of our wonderful fans on PlayStation - the community response has been fantastic.

Since launching TowerFall, we've had countless requests for new levels, characters, power-ups, and modes. A lot of your suggestions have been really valuable, and after I recovered from the game's launch back in March, I began forming new ideas of my own. Slowly but surely, our plans for an expansion took shape. I'm excited to announce that the Dark World Expansion will hit PS4 in early 2015.

We want to call this an expansion rather than DLC, because it expands the game in every direction rather than providing small incremental additions. Approaching it this way allows us to tie all the new stuff together in a very cohesive manner. For you this means more playable archers, levels, modes, power-ups, variants, trials, and more.

Terraria Comes to PS4 Tuesday: Bigger World, New Items, Cross-Play

12w ago - 505 Games Senior Brand Manager Richard Gittins announced that Terraria comes to PS4 this Tuesday, complete with a bigger world, new items and cross-play!

To quote: It's hugely exciting to be bringing the world of Terraria to PS4.

We didn't feel it was necessary to tinker with the core mechanics of the game, which have underpinned its success to date, but we've definitely been able to take this console version to the next level and implement some fantastic new features in the process - It looks amazing running in HD on PS4 too!

The first thing to talk about is the scale of the PS4 version, which is almost triple the size of the original PS3 game.

A truly huge amount of content and features have been added, with well over 1,000 new items including 10 new ores, 4 new wood types, 31 new brick types, 12 new wing types, 29 new tinker combinations, 50 new paintings, 8 new friendly NPCs, 15 new pets, over 100 new enemies, 4 new bosses ... the list goes on, and on!

We've also listened to feedback from the community and looked at how people play the original console games to figure out where slight improvements might be made.

To quote: Hello, Dominic Matthews here from Ninja Theory. I wanted to come back to PlayStation.Blog to share our latest development diary with you and to also give an update on how things are progressing with the creation of our new PS4 title Hellblade.

Back in August we announced Hellblade at PlayStation's Gamescom Press Conference, which at the time was just 4 months into development. By traditional standards, we were announcing the game incredibly early in development.

The reason for such an early announcement is that we want to share as much of Hellblade's development with you as we possibly can.

The standard approach is for games and their development to be hidden away, with details slowly drip fed to players very carefully and slowly over time. But we want to do the opposite. We announced early so that we could start sharing our development approach, creative exploration and decision making from the very beginning.

Since Gamescom we've been updating our site with regular development diary videos, blog posts, concept art and live streams. We've released three development diaries to date, focused on the announcement...
