To quote: Yesterday, I shared with you a sneak peek of our latest ad featuring Kevin Butler and the soon-to-be-released Gran Turismo 5.

I'm back again today to give you the first look at an exciting Kevin Butler holiday double feature–two new ads which will begin airing tomorrow.

With Black Friday just one week away, we are preparing to kick off the start of the traditional holiday shopping season. Retail stores will fill to capacity with tech-hungry shoppers looking for the year's best bargains.

While some can navigate the mass of home entertainment options with ease, others may find it overwhelming. We know that many of you who read the PlayStation.Blog already understand the incredible value and unmatched features of PS3.

But some consumers are still educating themselves on different gift options and not everyone fully understands what an all-in-one home entertainment...

Video: Who's That Flying?! Hits PSN Tomorrow for PS3 and PSP

197w ago - Today Who's That Flying Writer/Producer Jim Griffiths has shared a video trailer and let us know that the PlayStation Minis title will be hitting PSN tomorrow for the PS3 and PSP consoles.

To quote: We're very, very pleased to announce that our second minis game, "Who's That Flying?!" goes live tomorrow on the PlayStation Store!

With "Who's That Flying?!", we've combined side-scrolling shooting action with elements of tower defence and even some up-close and personal quick-time events for the super-dramatic moments!

What that means is that the character you control, the "Guardian of Earth" is pretty much invulnerable, blasting enemies apart and grappling giant bosses with ease - but the cities you are defending are hugely vulnerable. So your goal is not to survive, but rather to stop too many enemies getting past you and destroying your cities.

Check out the all-new, full trailer for the game!

The story starts out with the Guardian of Earth on trial for allowing the invasion to take place; each level is played out as a flashback as you submit your version of events... in the most dramatic way possible!

The game will become available today on the PS3 and PSP worldwide for the price...

To quote: [Register or Login to view links] is a small indie games studio based in the UK. Earlier this year we released the PlayStation minis game Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!.

Today, I'm super excited to reveal the first details of our brand new PlayStation minis title – Who's That Flying!? This summary from the games writer and producer Jim is a great overview on what you can expect:

You are the mysterious and powerful creature known only as the "Guardian of Earth." Your steely eye and HYPER-POWERED LASER ARM have kept the citizens of Earth safe for generations (as well as proving a hit with the ladies).

With all your awesome TALENT and FLAIR, surely it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a sudden and devastating invasion of colossal Doom Beasts to descend on your cities and cause havoc without your knowledge? (Even if you were MAYBE showboating for a magazine photo shoot at the time...)

Now, you must not only defend your cities from the ravenous hordes of Doom Beasts, you must defend yourself against accusations of gross incompetence from the Galactic Council of Justice! And this is all BEFORE...

Casting Call: Who Should Play Who in Resident Evil: Afterlife

400°
264w ago - TheBBPS nominates who they want to play who in the coming fourth installment of the popular Resident Evil film franchsie, entitled Resident Evil: Afterlife, as follows:

Alice

Whether or not you like her character, this one's already been confirmed. The sultry Milla Jovovich will be reprising her role as the sexy asskicking genetically engineered supersoldier, Alice.

Since as of now Alice has been the only confirmed returning character, everyone from here on is either rumored or made up by yours truly.

Jill Valentine

Fans of the films may have noticed that Jill Valentine was surprisingly absent from Resident Evil: Extinction. In fact, it was like she never even existed. Apparently, due to scheduling conflicts with the dreadful Eragon film, Sienna had to decline when asked to reprise her role as Jill.

For Extinction, the writers completely left Jill out of the story to make it possible to bring her back in later films. And since I think it's safe to assume that we won't be seeing more Eragon in the near future, there's a good chance Sienna will be returning in Afterlife.

Leon S. Kennedy

Rumors have been circulating for awhile now that Resident Evil 4's main protagonist may be appearing in the fourth Resident...
