v1.81 Changelog:

1. Turn on control flags switch as default.
2. Auto-change control flags switch when 4.21+ alt switch is changed.
3. Fix resign NPDRM SELF/SPRX option, previous version not working.

98w ago - Not long after his previous revision and the GUI by Woulf_Alpha, today PlayStation 3 developer JjKkYu has updated his SCETool Script to PS3 TrueAncestor SELF Resigner v1.8 with the changes below.

v1.8 Changelog:

1. Rename to TrueAncestor SELF Resigner.
2. Support batch resigning SELF/SPRX files.
3. Add options for CEX CFW.
4. Set non-compress data as default.
5. Change ELF patching method, credit to Ftsm.
6. Update instructions.

Note: For Yazuka 5, enable 4.21+ alt option, then use option 4 to batch resign all the EBOOT.BIN and SELF/SPRX files in the game. Take it easy!!

While there is no official changelog posted yet, many believe the 1.81 revision will block the ability to run VHBL through Monster Hunter Freedom Unite using the recent VHBL PS Vita 1.80 exploit for the PlayStation Vita handheld console.

PSOne Classics Hit PS Vita in New System Software Update v1.80

114w ago - Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel has officially confirmed today that PSOne Classics will be hitting PS Vita in the new System Software Update v1.80 slated for release later this month.

To quote: Hi, everyone. One of the key announcements coming out of Gamescom today is that the next PS Vita System Software Update (v1.80) is coming your way late August, and will add support for playing PSone Classics on your PlayStation Vita.

I know a lot of you have been looking forward to playing original PlayStation titles on the go.

In addition, you will be able to make various setting changes while games are running and take screenshots of your gameplay.
*It might not be possible to take screenshots in some applications, or in some parts of applications.

Listed below are a few other new features that will be added with the 1.80 update:

Cross Controller

The new Cross-Controller feature will allow you to use PS Vita as a controller to play compatible games on PS3, such as LittleBigPlanet 2. This feature lets you take advantage of PS Vita's rich features including the touch screen, rear touch pad, six-axis motion sensing system, and cameras.
