There is both a US Complaint Form and an EU Grief Report Forum, simply fill them out and submit them depending on your region.

Here is when to report users, to quote: You may report a user who is acting inappropriately or in breach of the PLAYSTATION®Network Terms of Service. If a user is not violating the Community Code of Conduct as set forth in the PLAYSTATION®Network Terms of Service, please do not register a complaint.

False reporting may result in a restriction or suspension of your PLAYSTATION®Network account(s). SCEA will process all complaints. SCEA does not disclose to individual users the status or results of individual complaints.

We want your experience of PlayStation to be easy and enjoyable at all times. But if you find someone is spoiling it for you, by cheating, harassing you, intimidating you or threatening you in one of our games with malicious or offensive behaviour, then we want to know about it.

183w ago - Now with the PS3 Firmware 3.10 update you can send an error report to Sony.

I encountered this personally just yesterday when I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and think its a good feature for future PS3 Firmware updates to reduce issues.

To quote: "Thanks to firmware 3.10, Sony now allows users to send an error report after an improper shutdown.

Freezing is an annoying issue and there is no way for everyone to be able to report such errors in an easy way. While it's unknown what exactly is being sent to Sony, expect information about your software and hardware to be sent.

According to a disclaimer before sending in the report, this includes PSN account information, the content saved on your PS3, and your email address. This information will be sent if it was being used during the time of the problem."

197w ago - Today Treyarch has given a serious warning to all Sony PSN and Microsoft XBox Live would-be hackers and console modders... if you are caught, you'll be banned from all of their online services.

To quote: Our most recent TU addressed a number of issues that arose as a result of modders hacking their console and ultimately disrupting the online experience for everybody else.

In light of these recent events, I'd like to make something abundantly clear to the community: Treyarch has adopted a zero tolerance policy towards console hackers / modders. We are actively working with our console partners (Microsoft and Sony) to take action against all proven offenders, up to and including a complete ban from all of their online services.

Our number one priority is to protect the experience of our online gaming community (most of you reading this message), and the efforts of console hackers / modders directly target the community in a negative way.

We understand that a primary motivation in hacking / modding is to bring something "fresh" or "new" to the game. That is why the PC platform has a full suite of Mapping / Modding tools, along with plenty of documentation to go along with it.

199w ago - During Sony's quarterly earnings report, there was a Q&A held between Sony executives and market analysts, and Robert Wiesenthal - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sony America - revealed, to quote:

"I think right now close to half of our users have opted to sign up to the [PlayStation] network, and I think it's running on track, and we are expecting really great things this year from it".

Not an exact statistic, sure, but it gives us a rough idea. There are 23 million PS3 consoles out there. If "close to half" of all PS3 users have signed up, that gives us around 11 million people actually signed up to the PSN on their PS3's.

Not sure whether he also included the PSP in that statement, but seeing as online use hasn't been as important for that system to date, we'd say he's not.

All in all, that's a pretty healthy number!
