Of course, the usual caveats apply here: schedules can shift and plans can change. But we're going to keep this handy-dandy list updated all year long with the necessary adjustments. Let us bask in its warming glow.

Sony Unveils New DC Universe Online DLC Packs Expansion

50°
25w ago - Sony DC Universe Online Executive Producer Larry Liberty unveiled their new DC Universe Online DLC packs expansion details below today.

To quote: Gotham is under siege! The first of a three-part series of DLC Packs, Amazon Fury Part I, will soon reveal that Wonder Woman's mother, Queen Hippolyta, has allied with Circe and launched an attack on the world of man - starting with Gotham City.

This is purportedly a response to the Brainiac attack on Wonder Woman's homeland of Themyscira. This conflict pits mother against daughter, with Wonder Woman leading the Amazonian resistance to the Queen's aggression.

The flashpoint of the conflict is in central Gotham City, where Amazonian forces loyal to the Queen have encased the southern half of the city in a mystical barrier, and have started to destroy everything within.

Heroes have joined forces with Wonder Woman and her Rebel army as they try to save Gotham City from Hippolyta's brutal attack. Villains align themselves with Hippolyta and Circe to help advance the front lines of the battle and crush all who oppose them overtaking Gotham City.

New open world solo missions

Players will travel to an alternate version of Gotham City - Gotham Under Siege. From there, Heroes and Villains will each have...

Namco Bandai Unveils Dark Souls II PlayStation 3 Survival Guide

50°
28w ago - Namco Bandai Community Manager J Kartje unveiled a Dark Souls II PlayStation 3 Survival Guide for PS3 fans today!

To quote: Dark Souls II continues a long tradition of games that will challenge even the most veteran of gamers. You'll explore, experiment, and die many times throughout your quest.

While it would be against From Software's design philosophy to give you a detailed map of the world and a full explanation of the game's story, we did want to give you a few pointers before you go beyond death come March 11th on PS3.

A few basic changes exist within Dark Souls II that even the Souls veterans might want to know before venturing into the land of Drangleic:

Fast Travel: Bonfire's serve as the "checkpoints" in Dark Souls II. As soon as you light a new Bonfire, you're able to travel between that fire and any other Bonfire that you've lit.

Leveling: Spending hard-earned souls to level up can only happen with the Emerald Herald, a specific NPC you'll need to return to each time you wish to seek more power.

Welcome to Majula: Soaked in eerie sunlight, you'll be roaming around the hub town of Majula early on in your quest. Majula houses the Emerald Herald, vendors, merchants, and other persons of interest that will help you piece together the many...

Sony Unveils PlayStation Plus: January 2014 Content Preview

300°
37w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer unveiled a PlayStation Plus January 2014 content preview with details below today, as follows:

It's almost time for the New Year, and we're ready to kick-off 2014 in a big way. January's Instant Game Collection will offer PlayStation Plus members loads of amazing titles, starting off with a new PlayStation 4 title - Don't Starve.

A wilderness survival game wrapped in a cute art style, you'll take control of a Gentleman Scientist trying to make his way home from a mysterious place. Be warned - this is one of those games where you'll die a lot, but if you ever get frustrated, just look at how cute your buddy Chester is and I'm sure everything will be okay.

For PlayStation 3 owners, you'll be able to download three critically acclaimed games - DMC Devil May Cry, BioShock Infinite and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. DMC Devil May Cry is a reboot of the beloved franchise, and while Dante may have received a haircut and a new backstory, his weapons and fighting style should be fairly familiar to fans.

Created by the same folks who brought us BioShock, BioShock Infinite has received multiple Game of the Year nominations. This isn't your average first-person shooter, you'll gather vigors throughout your journey that will fling your...
