Video: All Zombies Must Die Shuffles Onto PSN December 27th

148w ago - Doublesix Games Community Manager Jamin Smith has confirmed today alongside a video trailer that All Zombies Must Die will be shuffling onto PSN this December 27th.

To quote: Today I bring news that our Arcade-RPG All Zombies Must Die! will be ambling onto the PlayStation Store December 27.

[Register or Login to view links] is a twin-stick shooter taken to lofty new heights with a bevy of RPG features and four player co-op. As the zombie apocalypse arrives in the town of Deadhill it falls to four unlikely heroes to defend humanity and save the day.

Jack, the gamer; Rachel, the girl; Brian, the geek and Luxo, the alien must undertake insane quests, craft crazy weapons and generally put down as many zombies as humanly possible.

With comical references and a fourth-wall-breaking script to tie it all together, AZMD presents the zombie apocalypse in a whole new light.

To coincide with the festive period, we also have a range of zombie companions arriving on PlayStation Home. While it's true that all zombies must die, and the undead are foul creatures that should be riddled with bullets without a moment's hesitation, they do make rather charming pets.

Konami's Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone Infests PSN Today

157w ago - Konami Associate Brand Manager Pearl Lu has announced that Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone infests PSN today with details below.

To quote: I wanted to let you know that [Register or Login to view links] will be available on PSN later today! Now for those of you who played the first Zombie Apocalypse (released in 2009) welcome back to Konami's take on the world of the undead.

For those of you who are new to this whole experience, I'm here to give you a few brief and yet thoroughly engrossing (emphasis on "gross") tips about a world that's near and dear to my heart.

At its core, the game is an overhead twin stick shooter which places a focus on more of a fast-paced arcade type feel. You'll deal with thousands of zombies throughout the game, all of which are trying their absolute hardest to eat your brain and steal your soul.

That's the bad news. Your job is to use every arsenal at your disposal to fend off the zombie wave and get the hell off this godforsaken Canadian island.

Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone was developed by our good friends at [Register or Login to view links]. Believe me when I say, Backbone and I are proud of the work we've done on this little game so please do me a...

To quote: Here is another update to They Do Not Die 2.

I had added corpses and blood but I’ve removed them because I don’t know how to make them fade away progressively and I find it extremely distracting seeing them just disappear instantly (for performance reasons there needs to be a limit on how many can exist at any given time).

If anyone knows how to go about doing that I would greatly appreciate an example of it. Basically what I’m looking for is the PSL1GHT equivalent of glColor4f. I assume the answer involves shaders which I am sadly fairly ignorant about making and using.

Notable changes:

  • Added two player co-op play (shared screen).
  • There are now cars and boxes scattered around the city.
  • Data is stored more efficiently in game saves and as a result of that saving and loading is faster.
  • The shotgun is more powerful.

PS3 controls:

  • Left analog stick = Move
  • Right analog stick = Aim
  • L1 = Fire the...
