2w ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe announced today alongside a video that the 12 deals of Christmas returns to PlayStation Store!
To quote: Hi everyone! It's that time of year again when Santa gets his sleigh ready to deliver all the goodies he has been preparing and at PlayStation Store we are no different.
What better way to celebrate this festive period than by delivering some great savings on a range of the very best games?
Starting on 1st December, every 48 hours we'll post two new discounts, one for PS3 and one for PS Vita (so 24 game discounts in total across the month), as well as some great savings on movie rentals. PS Store really is your one stop shop for full on, action packed entertainment, up to and over the festive period.
Make sure you keep checking PlayStation Blog for details of every deal as soon as they hit the store.
The first deal starts this Sunday 1st December so make sure you grab it before it vanishes quicker than the last mince pie! We'll be back on the day to unwrap the first treat!
In the meantime, just for a little bit of fun, why not try and guess what the first one will be?

2w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer announced today that Soul Sacrifice is free for PlayStation Plus members.
To quote: One of the most critically acclaimed PS Vita titles, Soul Sacrifice, is now available in the Instant Game Collection.
Created by Keiji Inafune, best known for his work on the Mega Man franchise, this action RPG pits you against an evil sorcerer. The question is, how are you going to defeat him when you're locked up in a fleshy cage? A talking book named Librom (it reminds me of the spell book in Hocus Pocus) is the answer.
Librom will transport you back to past events, also known as Phantom Quests, so you can train and develop your power. The game really shines with its "save or sacrifice" combat mechanics, where you'll need to make key decisions about what you need most (i.e. more health or more magic), or choose to unleash a devastating black rite spell by destroying part of your body.
The best way to grasp the game is to try it out, so get to downloading when this becomes free for PS Plus members tomorrow!
You can take advantage of all these PS Plus benefits after the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow, 11/26.
Soul Sacrifice (PS Vita)
What would you sacrifice for ultimate power? Prepare yourself...
3w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new Sony PlayStation Releases for the upcoming week today, as follows:
It's almost time to give thanks and pile loads of food onto your plate - copious amounts that you couldn't possibly eat in one sitting.
And as you sprawl out in a half-awake state, what better way to digest food than with some new video games? How about a long-running Japanese RPG with a huge world to explore? Sounds pretty tasty.
That's right, this week sees the launch of Ys: Memories of Celceta. This JRPG joins the PS Vita family with an action-heavy battle system and an overworld that's bigger than all the other maps in the series... combined.
Players will take control of series hero Adol Christin, and work to piece together his broken memories as he explores the dangers and intrigue of the Great Forest. Ys: Memories of Celceta also boasts an elaborate crafting system for those gamers out there that love to tweak gear and find the perfect tools for battle.
The PlayStation family also (re)welcomes two PSone Classics: Metal Gear Solid VR Missions and Oddworld: Abe Boxx, as well as the PS3 version of Super Motherload.
