This second downloadable content package for Ghost Recon Future Soldier features three new missions playable cooperatively, a new Guerrilla Mode map, and new Trophies & Challenges.

New Campaign Missions

In Secure Dawn, a plane transporting a highly valuable VIP has been shot down over a forested area next to the Russian border. A distress beacon has been received.

The Ghosts deploy to find the VIP and safely extract him. With sensor grenades, drone and camouflage all out of commission, the player will have to take care of business the old-fashioned way!

59w ago - PlayStation Network Community Manager Morgan Haro has announced today that PS Plus members will be granted first access to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on April 10, 2012.

To quote: Releasing in May, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier not only promises an engaging single-player campaign, but bone-rattling battlefields to storm in multiplayer.

And now, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have first access to the multiplayer beta come April 17th.

The beta will be published on April 17th in the PlayStation Plus section of the Store. If you've elected for Automatic Downloads as a subscriber, the beta will also be automatically pushed to your PS3 when it's released! Otherwise, you can download it when you're ready and hop in the multiplayer action.

It's important to note that the beta itself starts on the 19th of April. So while you'll be able to download it on 4/17, the action can't be accessed until Thursday, 4/19.

Gamers don't always realize how long it can take for a weapon to make the leap from the drawing board to being fully functional and kicking ass in the game. It needs to be concepted, built, textured, animated, weapon logic needs to be engineered, sounds created, various values set up, tested, debugged, and tweaked.

As you can imagine, all this takes quite a while, which means you spend a lot of time playing your game with a limited set of gear. Over time, we add new weapons to the game and they can radically alter the balance of play because they open up new possibilities in combat. Below are some examples.

Shuhei Yoshida, President, Worldwide Studios: Full development of PS Vita hardware started in Spring, 2008 when the semiconductor was complete. The great thing is that we [Worldwide Studios] were there right at the beginning to express our thoughts and reactions to the hardware that was being proposed.

We were there at every stage and with every prototype, and we developed game builds to prove and, sometimes, disprove how each new feature was going to make for a great game system.
