Ubisoft Announces Rocksmith 2014 Launches on PS4 Today

Below are the details, to quote: Playing a musical instrument is a lifelong journey. No matter when you start, you're never really done - there's always something new to learn.

So if you started learning how to play guitar or bass on PS3 with Rocksmith or [Register or Login to view links], it's only natural that you'd want to continue on your PS4.

Well, here's good news: as of today, you'll be able to pick up Rocksmith 2014 on PS4 - and if you do, a dozen Jimi Hendrix songs are headed your way next month, for free.

The PS4 version of Rocksmith 2014 Edition contains all the content of its predecessor; nothing has been removed in the transition to the latest hardware.

You'll get 55 songs from bands like Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Boston, Slayer, Foo Fighters, and Aerosmith (just to name a handful), plus interactive lessons that cover everything from how to tune and change your guitar strings up through complex chords, pinch harmonics, and two-hand tapping.

But first, let me explain a little bit about the game for those that have no prior knowledge of the Guilty Gear series!

The series has been around since time immemorial (and by that, I mean for 16 years!). It's been redesigned from the world of 2D, to incorporate both 2D and 3D elements, making it a veritable feast for the eyes kind of experience, thanks to some technical Arc System Works magic and the Unreal 3 engine.

Turtle Rock Studios Evolve: Mix and Match Monsters on PlayStation 4

18w ago - Turtle Rock Studios Design Director and Co-Founder Chris Ashton announced that Evolve: Mix and Match Monsters is coming to PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: At Gamescom, the [Register or Login to view links] team is excited for people to finally experience what Evolve is all about - mixing and matching characters, monsters, and environments for increased replayability and strategy.

It all funnels into the idea that every round is different, and there is always a way to win.

At PAX East, gamers got their hands on the first tier of Hunters versus Goliath in a Forest Environment. At E3, journalists and industry veterans experienced the second tier of Hunters fighting against Kraken in a Desert Environment that was filled with new wildlife species.

Now at Gamescom, we are introducing a third environment to the mix with even more wildlife that change the rules of the game. Take the humble Glaciopod, for example. Normally Monsters kill everything they see, but in this environment, experienced Monsters protect Glaciopods because they actually produce food that the monster can eat.
