PlayStation Plus on PS4: The PlayStation Revolution Continues!

71w ago - Sony PS Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe revealed today that the PlayStation revolution continues with PlayStation Plus on PS4!

To quote: Hi everyone! The gaming revolution that is PlayStation Plus will continue to grow on PS4.

If you are already a PlayStation Plus member you don't need to do anything, you can sit back and relax as your membership will automatically include all the PS3, PS Vita and PS4 features of the service when it goes live on day one.

PlayStation Plus is available now and will continue to be available for a one-off payment of €49.99/£39.99. However, as you might have heard during the gamescom press conference today, if you purchase a one year membership through PlayStation Store up until 20th September we'll give you an additional 90 days at no extra cost!

Worms Revolution Extreme Explodes Onto PS Vita This Year

75w ago - Communications Exec Bethany Aston at Team 17 Digital Ltd announced today that Worms Revolution Extreme explodes onto PS Vita this year.

To quote: Since the launch of PS Vita, fans have been vocal with their requests for a PS Vita version of Worms. We're pleased to announce today that that version is Worms Revolution Extreme, and it is on its way!

Worms Revolution Extreme features an extensive single player campaign spanning 47 missions and 25 puzzles to beat. Missions are set amongst a variety of different environment themes including: Sewer, Farmyard, Spooky, Beach, Mars, Funfair or Medieval.

Worms has always been great with friends - or enemies. With Worms Revolution Extreme that's no different; you'll be able to take part in local or online multiplayer battles for up to four players. Choose from one of three game modes: Deathmatch, Forts or Classic, and start firing those Bazookas!

New for PS Vita (and PS3) is the cool Cross-Gifting feature, Treasure Mode. This new mode lets you link up with your friends who have a PS3 system (or vice versa). Below are the details, to quote: Everyone here on the Tekken team is very excited to finally pull the curtain off of Tekken Revolution, Namco Bandai Games' brand new free-to-play game that is launching today on the PlayStation Network exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system.

At the start of every month we let you know what you can expect to hit the Instant Game Collection, and we'll also detail the current week's discounts. Below are is the full scoop, to quote: As the old saying goes, "the revolution will not be televised." Nonsense - it's not only on your TV screen, but it will be interactive, too.

Revolution, the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, arrives on PlayStation Network on February 28 - and there's more inside this collection than you may be expecting.

Revolution offers a heck of a lot of content for both multiplayer and Zombies fans. First up are the four multiplayer maps:

• Hydro: Located in Pakistan, this hydro-electric plant comes complete with a lethal spillway that floods with very little warning.
• Grind: Set in a skate park in Venice Beach (the birthplace of skateboarding!), quarter-pipes and curved surfaces drive players away from easy cover and into intense firefights.
• Downhill: A ski resort in the French Alps, this snowy map is complete with a moving gondola system that can both offer cover and crush you to death.
• Mirage: Located in China's Gobi Desert, this luxury resort has been ravaged by a sandstorm.

It's worth noting that Mirage is also the first Black Ops II...
