Why do the Black Hand look so different from any of the foes seen before in the Killzone universe?

Dan Calvert: We're dealing with the universe-changing consequences of the demise of planet Helghan, plus the jump in time between Killzone 3 and Killzone Shadow Fall. We'd already started to see the Helghast fragment in Killzone 3 after Scolar Visari's death, and the loss of their home and a vast part of their population only furthered this.

To quote: We're going to start this blog post with a big F1 Classics reveal. We've been teasing a few details since announcement, but today we're very happy to confirm the big names and legendary cars that will feature in F1 2013, plus the extra content you'll find in F1 2013 Classic Edition.

F1 Classics is a fictional racing series that allows you to race F1 cars, drivers and circuits from the 1980s and 1990s. The teams are represented by two drivers, the original that raced in the team's specific car and the team legend that has represented the team during a different era.

We're incredibly excited to have 10 iconic world champions feature in F1 Classics including Michael Schumacher, Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost. Between those and the five F1 2013 champions they've won an incredible 29 World Driver's Championships between them:

Below are the details, to quote: As we announced earlier this month, we've secured the amazing talents of David Harewood and Jamie Gray Hyder to portray two key characters from Killzone: Shadow Fall - VSA director Sinclair and Helghast intelligence operative Echo.

But who exactly are Sinclair and Echo, and how did their character designs come about? We asked Assistant Art Director Dan Calvert to shed some light on these enigmatic characters.

PlayStation.Blog: Who are Sinclair and Echo, and what roles do they play in KZ:SF?

Dan Calvert: Sinclair is the head of the Vektan Security Agency - his job is to make sure the balance of power favors Vekta without escalating the cold war into open conflict. Part spymaster - part diplomat, and with a shrewd strategic mind, he is Lucas' direct CO and mentor.

Like Lucas, Echo is an elite operative tasked to cross the wall, and her mission puts them on a collision course. She is extremely dangerous; an equal but opposite reflection of the player character.
