160w ago - Today Who's That Flying Writer/Producer Jim Griffiths has shared a video trailer and let us know that the PlayStation Minis title will be hitting PSN tomorrow for the PS3 and PSP consoles.
To quote: We're very, very pleased to announce that our second minis game, "Who's That Flying?!" goes live tomorrow on the PlayStation Store!
With "Who's That Flying?!", we've combined side-scrolling shooting action with elements of tower defence and even some up-close and personal quick-time events for the super-dramatic moments!
What that means is that the character you control, the "Guardian of Earth" is pretty much invulnerable, blasting enemies apart and grappling giant bosses with ease - but the cities you are defending are hugely vulnerable. So your goal is not to survive, but rather to stop too many enemies getting past you and destroying your cities.
Check out the all-new, full trailer for the game!
The story starts out with the Guardian of Earth on trial for allowing the invasion to take place; each level is played out as a flashback as you submit your version of events... in the most dramatic way possible!
The game will become available today on the PS3 and PSP worldwide for the price...

175w ago - Today Frima Executive Producer Martin Brouard has shared details on Young Thor for PS3 and PSP Minis which is now available on PSN.
To quote: Last week's launch of Young Thor has been a tremendous occasion for our studio, and finally launching one of the biggest mini titles to date has brought up a lot of warm praise and even some questions from the fans.
In short, I'd love to take this opportunity to tell you how this project came about, and fill you in on our unique approach to minis.
Nearly three years ago, an idea came to us for a project surrounding a fresh take on Norse mythology. We wanted to make something that we'd enjoy as hardcore gamers, but also something for all ages that our families could dive into at the same time.
While we weren't exactly sure where we would decide to take the game, our imaginations ran wild before we got into the actual game design itself. We created our own animated short for Young Thor that helped us wrap our heads around what we wanted to do. Once finished, we all knew that we still wanted to tell this story in game form, but we wanted to do so in the same vein as an animated short.
175w ago - Today Mediatonic Co-Founder & Creative Director Paul Croft has revealed that Who's That Flying?! for PSP and PS3 is coming soon to PSN.
To quote: Mediatonic is a small indie games studio based in the UK. Earlier this year we released the PlayStation minis game Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!.
Today, I'm super excited to reveal the first details of our brand new PlayStation minis title – Who's That Flying!? This summary from the games writer and producer Jim is a great overview on what you can expect:
You are the mysterious and powerful creature known only as the "Guardian of Earth." Your steely eye and HYPER-POWERED LASER ARM have kept the citizens of Earth safe for generations (as well as proving a hit with the ladies).
With all your awesome TALENT and FLAIR, surely it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a sudden and devastating invasion of colossal Doom Beasts to descend on your cities and cause havoc without your knowledge? (Even if you were MAYBE showboating for a magazine photo shoot at the time...)
Now, you must not only defend your cities from the ravenous hordes of Doom Beasts, you must defend yourself against accusations of gross incompetence from the Galactic Council of Justice! And this is all BEFORE...
