Payday: The Heist update - we are close to being able to confirm the release date of Payday: The Heist and are just waiting for SOE to provide 100% confirmation, which we hope will be with us later today. SCEE and SOE are working hard to get the game in your hands as soon as possible; thank you for your patience.

Hello everybody and welcome to another addition of the PSN Store's 'Heads - Up.' With Halloween just round the corner we have our Halloween Sale starting this week, and below you'll fine some examples. There is loads of content for everyone to enjoy.

We also have lots of new content coming to the store this week; to start with we have the greatly anticipated Battlefield 3 (I have been waiting so long myself for this game.) This will be available from Friday 28th October at 00:01 GMT.

Today you will also be able to download Infamous - Festival Of Blood which is a stand-alone version of InFamous where vampires have swarmed into New Marais and Cole - the one person who can save the city - has been bitten. Cole now has one night to battle through the bloodsucking hordes and slay the head vampire; otherwise his soul will be lost forever. Sounds...
 

Cars 2: The Video Game Coming to PSP with Entertainment Pack

129w ago - Today Sony's Hardware Associate Brand Marketing Manager Crystal MacKenzie has confirmed that Cars 2: The Video Game is coming to PSP alongisde the EA Sports FIFA Soccer 12 and Cars 2: The Video Game PSP Entertainment Pack.

To quote: Starting on November 8th you will be able to rev up your engine and join your favorite characters from Disney/Pixar's, Cars 2 in a high-speed race around the globe in Cars: 2 The Video Game.

Also, the soccer season is just about coming to an end but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop here. We are excited to announce that we are bringing another great PSP Entertainment Pack your way on November 15th that features everyone's favorite soccer franchise, FIFA Soccer 12 and for the first time ever, Cars 2: The Video Game for PSP.

To quote: Hello everybody, me again! It's Wednesday so that means new content for you to download and enjoy! So what have we got coming to the store for you today?

Well first off there is Okabu, I saw this game a couple of months back and this is a game that anyone can have fun with. Take to the skies and guide cloud-whale brothers Kumulo and Nimbe on their epic adventure. Save the once-peaceful lands of Okabu from the diabolical Doza and their army of industrial contraptions.

We also have Worms Crazy Golf available from today with a hilarious mixture of the explosive action of Worms and the puzzle based challenges of crazy golf! All of the trademark Worms humour, comic violence, and cartoon visuals are present, combined with addictive yet accessible golf gameplay. Who ever though golf could be so much fun?

Hello everybody and welcome. We have an exciting list of content for you this week, with some really good games coming to the store which I hope fills your hearts with joy.

First of we have Resident Evil: Code Veronica HD, an essential game to play for any Resident Evil fan. Set three months after Resi 2, you play Claire Redfield in search for her brother, Chris.

However, not everyone loves zombies and lethal viruses... So we also have Rochard coming to PSN today were you play John Rochard the space miner on his gravity-bending journey across the Solar System!

Free Realms is also coming to the store today. The eagerly anticipated MMO is free to play but for a fee you can upgrade your account for extra benefits.

FIFA 12 is available on the store this week on Friday; I think we all know what this game is about but if you don't know... *SPOILER ALERT!!* It's a football game.

The Battlefield 3 Open Multiplayer Beta also starts this week on Thursday 29th. One map is available for this beta, the classic 'Metro' map. I will see you on the battlefield.

Hello everybody! Ross is at a top secret meeting today (which I don't even know what it is about) so instead you got me - which is probably for the best because I'm going to be extremely attentive. So "Let's get this party started!"

Today we are delighted to announce the release of Resident Evil 4 (a personal favourite of mine, which I am sure does not need any explanation) with a discount for PLUS members of 50%. In addition for PLUS members we also have a discount of 50% for The Undergarden, a game the whole family can enjoy.

We also have coming to the store today the pre-order for PAYDAY: The Heist which I am sure you have heard about though our PlayStation Network PLAY promotion.

This game is released in early October but please note if you have already bought the four games in the PlayStation Network PLAY promotion you will not need to buy / pre-order this as your copy will come to you as a voucher in your email. So don't pre-order if you're eligible!

As for special offers this month which are available for everyone, UbiSoft have contributed some awesome games for you to buy, include Outland and Clash of Heroes...
