76w ago - SideQuest Studios CEO Marcus Pukropski has announced today that PS3 RPG Rainbow Moon rises on PSN this July 10th alongside some new video footage below!
To quote: Rainbow Moon is our upcoming role-playing game for PS3. It's been nearly two years since we started working on Rainbow Moon, so we can hardly believe that the game releases on PSN in just over two weeks – it'll hit PlayStation Store on July 10th for $14.99.
If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you'll enjoy a 20% discount, paying just $11.99, for the first two weeks after launch.
The last time we spoke, I explained Rainbow Moon's battle system. This time, I'd like to give you some insight into the game's character development system.
Many gamers think that character development is just about battling and leveling up. While that's partly true in Rainbow Moon, there's a lot more that can make or break a game.
Aside from RPG standards like experience points and gaining levels, in Rainbow Moon you can earn a resource called "Rainbow Pearls." You can exchanged these for improved character attributes or increased health and magic limits.
This system gives you a certain freedom in how you'd like...
77w ago - Sega Senior Digital Brand Manager Mai Kawaguchi is here with a Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown tutorial video and PSN launch details below, as follows:
Fighting game fans worldwide have spoken. Since the release last week, we've seen an overwhelming amount of support for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown.
Today, we are releasing our tutorial video #3 for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown that we put together while working closely with AM2 (the development team) and VF community members.
We are hoping that these videos will help newcomers pick up VF5's advanced techniques quickly!
Also, just a few weeks ago in LA, we teamed up with fighting game legend Alex Valle and his crews from LevelUp Series to host a Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Pre-launch party.
We've invited the VF legends, Fuudo and Chibita, from Japan to demonstrate the game and also take on 20 or so challengers. Amazingly, we had people fly in from Australia, Japan, Singapore, Canada and all over the US just to make it to this event and ... we had a blast!
We've put together a short video of our event. If anyone is interested in seeing what the VF community is like, you can watch the video here!

106w ago - MonkeyPaw Games Marketing Manager Ray Almeda has announced today that two new imports, namely Dezaemon Plus and Blockids are now out on PlayStation Network alongside some video footage of each below.
To quote: Well we're a few months into our new venture and we've put out a lot of gaming in that time. Dezaemon Plus! and Blockids will mark the fifth and sixth additions to the MonkeyPaw classic European game portfolio on the PlayStation Network. And we have a lot more surprises planned for our retro-gaming fans.
But we'd like to ask your assistance. We need you to tell your friends about what we're doing and get the word out. We know our core fans are dedicated gamers and that you've picked up some titles already.
But we need a bigger response so that we can influence more Japanese companies. We need to show them there is a viable market in Europe and that licensing is worth their effort. It is like voting with Euros. Spend more on the candidates of your choice!
Here's a good choice for shooting fans. Dezaemon Plus! is a chance to play game god. You get to create a game using a robust game editor that allows you to form sprites, level designs, boss characters, music and more. Use parallax scrolling and other game design techniques...
