65w ago - Sony's Andy Stewart of the PlayStation Store Team has announced the addition of more titles to their PS Store Retro Games PSN sale today!
To quote: Hello everybody. I hope you are all enjoying our current Retro Sale.
Just a quick update - I have been listening to all your comments and have got some more deals for you! See below for the full list of additions.
Now you will notice that Resident Evil 2 is on the list but be warned, this DOES NOT currently work on the PS Vita. We are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it - hopefully it will work on the PS Vita soon but I don't have an ETA yet.
Once the game has been fixed you will be able to re-download the game for PS Vita, but for now you can only purchase it through your PS3. Sorry to disappoint with this but I will see if we can replicate the offer once it is working for PS Vita - though I can't make any promises.
I recommend buying it now on the PS3 (if you have one) for the future to avoid disappoint on missing this sale opportunity.
These discounts will start on Wednesday 12th September once the weekly store update has happened. All offers will end on 19th September....

91w ago - This weekend PlayStation Vita hacker Hellcat has discovered that when connected, the PS3 entertainment system downloads a list of content IDs from PSN and can actually block the transfer of PSP / Other game titles to Sony's PS Vita handheld console.
To quote: "The PS3 offers the very convenient option of downloading PSP content from the PSN store, store it on the local hard drive to later be transferred to a PSP or a PS Vita.
And here comes the catch: When you connect a PS Vita to the PS3 via Content Manager and use the function to transfer “Applications (PSP/Other) downloaded to the PS3 system” to the PS Vita, while the “Please wait” is shown on the PS Vita and before the PS3 sends the list of available titles, it fetches a list from PSN servers and crosschecks the local content against this list and only offers those titles to be transferred that are not “blocked” by said list.
I don’t know if it is a blacklist or a whitelist, and it’s encrypted, but it is used to hide or block out titles from being transferred to the PS Vita!
So, for example:
You downloaded MotorStorm Arctic Edge in time to your PS3 and also successfully transferred it to the PS Vita and did not delete it from the PS3.
