Sony Enables Remote Content Downloads From PSN Web Store

50w ago - It appears Sony has now enabled remote content downloads from their PSN / SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) Web store, allowing users to queue downloads to their PS3 or PS Vita console the next time they are powered on.

To add an item to your queue, simply purchase and download it via the Web store. The next time you turn on your system, the download will automatically start. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member and have items in your queue, the download will begin at your specified automatic update time.

To quote: An update for the SEN Web Store has been released which introduced a remote download feature. After making a purchase on the Web Store, you will now be able to place your content into a download queue for remote download to your PS3 or PS Vita device.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of the automatic update function available through the Plus service to remotely download content purchased from the Web Store to your selected device during the regular automatic update.

Sony Announces PlayStation Plus December 2012 Content, GTA Sale

50°
72w ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe has announced December's PlayStation Plus content lineup today alongside news of a GTA sale below.

To quote: Hello everyone! It's that time of year again when snows starts to cover the ground; fairy lights and mince pies take over the world and everyone is a little bit merrier! So, what better way to get in the mood than by divulging the latest PlayStation Plus content coming your way throughout December?

I hope you're excited as we are about the content line-up for this month, as we bring you a critically-acclaimed AAA blockbuster, an epic sci-fi shooter and a phenomenal puzzle platformer - and that's just the PS3 content!

So, let's kick off with a big one. We're very happy to announce that from 5th December we'll be offering the stunning Batman: Arkham City as your headline title for the next four weeks!

Delivering a genuinely authentic Batman experience that takes you deep inside the diseased heart of Gotham City, critics universally agreed that this is a shining example of what a superhero game should be. I don't think it needs much more of an introduction - just play it and find out for yourself.

Also out on 5th December, we are pleased to announce that we have secured the beautifully...

Video: Joe Danger: The Movie Roars on PSN with Exclusive Content

81w ago - Hello Games Managing Director Sean Murray has shared a video today announcing that Joe Danger: The Movie is roaring onto PSN with exclusive content.

To quote: It's even more exciting to be able to announce that Joe Danger: The Movie is coming to PS3 in the very near future with exclusive new content!

Two years ago, three friends and I made the original Joe Danger. The PlayStation community then took us under their wing and helped make it the huge success it became.

Since then we've been working incredibly hard to create the follow-up, Joe Danger: The Movie. Finally, today we can announce that Joe is coming home to the PlayStation Store very, very soon.

What I really can't wait for is the surprises we have in store for PlayStation gamers. This has been a total labour of love for us, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what people think of the game.

If you want to know more about the game, you can read some previews here and here, but first let me tell you a bunch of stuff you might not know.

Make your own Movie!

In the original, Joe Danger was a washed up stuntman, living in a caravan in the middle of the desert. Now he has been discovered by a mysterious...
