3w ago - Yacht Club Games Developer David D'Angelo announced today alongside a video trailer that Shovel Knight digs into PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in 2015.

To quote: Hey Shovelers and Shovelettes! We're Yacht Club Games: a new game studio dedicated to creating fun and challenging gameplay! We aspire to both tug at your heartstrings, and delight you with levity and charm.

We're very proud to announce that our debut title, Shovel Knight, will be tunneling its way to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita next year! We hope everyone will enjoy the game!

Shovel Knight is a sweeping classic action adventure game with awesome gameplay, memorable characters, and an 8-bit retro aesthetic. It's a hot mashup of new and old that may remind you of Mega Man, Castlevania, or Dark Souls! You play as the eponymous Shovel Knight, a small knight with a huge quest.

Shovel Knight has two goals: to defeat the evil Enchantress and save his lost beloved. He wields a Shovel Blade: a multipurpose weapon whose techniques have now been lost to the ages. Always honest and helpful, Shovel Knight is a shining example of the code of Shovelry: Slash Mercilessly and Dig Tirelessly!

But, between Shovel Knight and his beloved stands a cadre of villainous knights. These terrible foes, known as The Order of No Quarter, have...

3w ago - The Odd Gentlemen Creative Director and Founder Matt Korba posted up a video today announcing that the adventures new and old of King's Quest are coming for both PS4 and PS3 platforms!

To quote: I grew up playing the King's Quest games at my uncle's house, and it remains my favorite game series of all time.

I still remember the simple joy of typing in "eat carrot" and discovering that Graham would actually respond. The day I solved the Cliffs of Logic puzzle before my uncle did stands as one of my proudest achievements in gaming.

These titles were brimming with wonder, humor, engaging puzzles, and delightful gameplay, all wrapped up in a charming story that players of any age could appreciate.

King's Quest means something to everyone here at The Odd Gentlemen. It's a part of who we are. And it's why we are so proud to continue its tradition in a new and fully reimagined King's Quest. Today we get to show the first footage of a game we've poured our hearts into for nearly a year now.

From the beginning, we wanted to celebrate where King's Quest came from while opening new areas for it to explore. Our game opens with King Graham - revered as the greatest adventurer who ever lived - sharing...

To quote: [Register or Login to view links] is finally here! *Deep breath*

After working with this team for the last two-and-a-half years, I've been looking forward to this day as much as you have. I saw the game for the first time back in November of 2012, and I remember how impressive it looked.

I thought to myself, "If it looks this good now, what's it going to look like when it launches?" Well, that time has arrived, and I couldn't be more proud of what this team has accomplished.

Enough about me, let's talk about you! Inquisition is a game completely shaped by the decisions you make. The world of Thedas has been plunged into darkness, and as leader of the Inquisition, putting an end to the chaos rests on your shoulders.

Sounds like a heap of responsibility, right? Don't worry, there is no "wrong" way to deal with the threat. However, your choices will have an impact on your path to restore...
