We're exceptionally excited as today is the day the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta becomes available to everyone on PSN! By the end of today, anyone and everyone with access to the PlayStation Store should be able to view and download the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta - no codes required!

As we head into the second week of the UNCHARTED 3 Beta, we're updating the available gametypes to the following:

July 4 to July 9 Gametypes:

Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Team Objective, Hardcore, Co-op Hunter
Maps: Airstrip, Chateau

You'll notice Team Objective and Co-op Hunter as new additions for this week. I've been liking the Co-op Hunter gametype lately - the twist of adding in human players into what seems to be a Co-op mode is quite intriguing.

When can I start playing?

Tuesday, June 28, for all inFAMOUS 2 and current PlayStation Plus members, who all get early access to the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta.

If you're not an owner of inFAMOUS 2 or a current PlayStation Plus member, we're opening the floodgates to the UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta for EVERYONE on Tuesday, July 5.





What time EXACTLY can I start playing?

To quote: Just a few days ago we hosted a large press event with editors from the US and Europe where we gave everyone a first taste of our expansive multiplayer mode in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

First off, Uncharted 3 multiplayer is a complete evolution from the initial foray we made into multiplayer with Uncharted 2.

The leap forward in gameplay, technology -- not the least of which is 3D stereoscopic support -- and depth is nothing short of astounding, no joke.

116w ago - Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has revealed Resistance 3 Multiplayer details today, and confirmed the PS3 Beta will be coming later this year.

To quote: As this post goes live, we are revealing our all-new multiplayer for Resistance 3.

We've said all along we wanted Resistance 3's MP mode to bring the best of both Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2's MP and co-op modes, and you're about to see just how we've managed to do that.

Resistance 3 will feature 16-player Human vs. Chimera deathmatch and objective-based modes set in locations across the globe.

That may seem somewhat jarring after the 40 and 60-player mayhem in RFOM and R2. Rest assured though, our biggest motivation in determining our new player count was the fun times that we and the community had on maps like RFOM's Busyard and Rooftops, as well as the Bayou House and San Francisco maps in Resistance 2.
