- Today R*Q
revealed that the GTA Online Capture Creator update is now available for PlayStation fans with details below!
To quote: Hey, readers. We just want to let you know that the Capture Creator Update is now available as a free update to GTA Online, allowing you to create your own original customized Capture Jobs, adding on to the over 4 million player-created Deathmatches and Races created thus far.
Capture is a GTA twist on classic capture the flag style confrontations set across the massive world of Los Santos and Blaine County. Strategically place pick-ups, define weaponry, location and lots of other variables to make your own unique Capture Job for others to take on. We will also be reviewing your homemade Capture creations to stamp standout experiences as Rockstar Verified.
We're also extending the 2X GTA$ and RP period
that was originally scheduled to end today through next week - so playing any Capture Jobs, including those made with the Creator tools, will earn you twice as much GTA$ and RP until the end of the day on Sunday, April 20th.
As a little bonus for early birds in the community who are planning to make the first Capture creation masterpieces...
- Head of Mobile Robert Karp
at The Fyzz Facility announced today that Backgammon Blitz is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita this Winter (Tuesday in the US).
To quote: Update
: We are very pleased to share that Backgammon Blitz will be launching April 15th for PS3, PS Vita and PS4, priced at a bargain $7.99 Not only do you get the first ever recreation of this age-old board game for latest and greatest generation of consoles, but there is also the brand new and exclusive Blitz arcade mode, which takes the wonderful game of Backgammon and adds a whole new layer of depth and strategy.
I'm just the messenger, of course. The talented folks behind this lovely little title are known as VooFoo. Having made a name for themselves with Hustle Kings and Pure Chess, Backgammon feels like a step onwards and upwards for the studio, taking all of their strengths (gorgeous art design, a subtle but stylish approach to UI) and none of their weaknesses (cake night each Friday has always been their Achilles heel) into the next generation of platforms. VooFoo Studios yet again have done a fantastic job of making their visuals really stand out from the crowd - just check these screen shots below.
For me - and I hope you'll agree once you've gone hands-on with the final game - VooFoo aren't "just" developers...
