35w ago - Following up on their previous Firmware update, Sony Product Planning & Platform Software Innovation Director Don Mesa has announced that PS Vita System Software update v2.10 is incoming and includes a new folder system.
The new folder system allows users to organize their games and apps, and as expected patches the recently released Apache Overkill exploit and purportedly blocks Open CMA for those on PS Vita Firmware 2.10 according to mixed reports.
While no official changelog is available yet, according to their announcement the update will offer users the following, to quote: "system software stability during use of some features has been improved."
It wouldn't surprise us if Sony blocked some of the more recent exploits in the update as well, however, it is currently unknown if this will be a mandatory PS Vita Firmware update or not but it should...
53w ago - Following up on their previous revision, today Sony has updated PS Vita System Software to version 2.01 (mandatory) which they state will remedy a bug in the automatic save upload cloud saving functionality that PlayStation Plus users experienced in v2.00.
