250°
222w ago - SCEE Blog Manager James Gallagher has shared a fresh PlayStation Move PS3 motion controller tech demo video today.

To quote: While some of you already have the new PlayStation Move motion controller in your hands and others are just hours away, it seems a good time to post this tech demo from Move's inventor, Dr Richard Marks.

I particularly like the sculpting part and I really hope this makes it's way into a game one day as a weapon customisation tool.

I hope you're enjoying Move so far, those of you that have your hands on it.

In case you missed it, here's a video interview I shot with Richard when he visited London a couple of months ago.

To quote: This is a particularly special week for the PlayStation brand. Today, we're celebrating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation in North America.

As someone who was here at SCEA on 9/9/95, I can honestly say that the same enthusiasm and commitment to delivering great entertainment still drives the brand forward.

Which brings me to why this next week will also be special - the launch of one of the most exciting new products of the year: PlayStation Move.

We've been gearing up for the big launch of PlayStation Move in stores across North America next week and over the course of the next few months you'll be hearing quite a bit about PlayStation Move on your TVs, online, at your favorite PlayStation retailer, at your local mall and on some of your favorite products.

Beginning next week "PlayStation Move Headquarters" stores will come to San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago and a larger scale mall tour will debut in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, DC and Chicago.

We'll have our team of Move experts...

227w ago - It wouldn't be fair to only show off girls demoing the Nintendo Wii, so today courtesy of PlayStationTaiwan via YouTube we have a video spotlighting Taiwanese girls demoing Kung Fu Rider on Sony's upcoming PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller.

For those curious, Kung Fu Rider (previously known as Slider) is an upcoming 2010 action video game for the PlayStation 3 developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for use with the new PlayStation Move controller.

Players take the role of Tobio or Karin in the game, Tobio is a typical white-collar office worker while Karin is his secretary who has to escape from the Yakuza in Tokyo.

Players have to utilize the Move controller to navigate through the crowded streets of Hong Kong, HKSAR on a sliding office chair. Players can move the controller up and down to increase speed while tilting it left and right would turn the chair while tapping the Move button would cause the character to spin and kick items out of the way.

Players can cruise through the streets hopping over cars, juke left, right and pick up money along the way which act as points in the game and sliding through onscreen ticket outlines which will boost the game's meter which can trigger a burst of speed by jabbing at the PlayStation Eye.
