162w ago - Update: Today some more details and pictures surfaced on the PlayStation Phone, including the following to quote from Engadget.com:
"Furthermore, the handset pictured is running Android 2.2, though apparently there are multiple devices out there with different versions on board (including at least one packed with Android 3.0). Based on what we know, there's little chance the phone will launch with Froyo -- but it's clear these have been worked on for some time with various versions of the OS.
The device appears to have an 8GB microSD card slotted, and at least 512MB of internal storage (though we're hoping it's the 1GB we've heard would be present). As you can see from the pictures in the gallery below, the device isn't exactly thin -- we surmise that the handset is around 17mm thick, or slightly thicker than HTC's Touch Pro 2 (and funnily enough, about the same as the PSPgo)."
Today Engadget.com (linked above) has unveiled what is being called the PlayStation Phone alongside some leaked...
202w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has announced that the God of War III PS3 information drought is officially over, and shared some additional GoW III (rumored to be released on March 19, 2010) details and pictures today.
To quote: It's not often that buzz builds behind a news embargo, but judging by comments on the Blog, it seems a lot of you have been looking forward to hearing more about God of War III today.
I'm happy to report that with the release of these screens and impressions of the game from last month's New York preview event, you'll be seeing GoW III updates much more frequently.
Back to last months' event, we've been dying to share what we saw since we first laid eyes on this Titan-riding, boss-fighting segment of the game.
If the wait until God of War III's March release seems unbearable, I'm right there with you. We're almost there, and we have MAG, White Knight Chronicles, and Heavy Rain to tide us over until then.
Today we popped off the top of our PS3 TOOL to share how this monstrous machine works!
For starters, the cover is large but thin, and quite sharp (it drew blood!). Underneath the top cover are multiple steel covers, nearly 1/8th of an inch thick. This keeps the PS3 TOOL shielded, and also helps with ventilation.
Of an interesting note, the covers are so thick they block the WiFi and Bluetooth signals - this is why a PS3 TOOL needs an external antenna. Once the shielding covers are removed (along with about 15 screws) the signal can escape the system without issue... and we can start to see the internals of the PS3 TOOL.
Looking at the overview, on the far left features, from top to bottom, the System HDD at 400GB, the BDEMU HDD at 400GB, as well as the BD-ROM drive at the bottom.
To the right of that, there are air channels that are used as an intake, sucking air in from the...
