First and foremost, let me say it's definitely an honor for me to be on the official PlayStation Blog to talk to you guys about how the character specific battle balance changes for USFIV were decided upon and what you can expect to see in USFIV.

For those who may not be aware, the entire reason USFIV was made was due to ever-mounting requests from fans. They let us know that although a lot of characters had a possibility of winning in Super Street Fighter IV AE ver.2012, the gap between the highest and lowest ranked characters was a tad noticeable.

Additionally, the characters that were regarded in the dreaded "bottom five" category had an almost zero chance of ever winning a high level tournament. Since it was the fans who requested the game to be balanced further, we figured "who better would know what Ryu or Ken needs to win than those who are grinding with them every day online?" It allows you a fast connection between ps3 and pc to make function calls and syscalls and some other stuff. It will come in handy for for people who are reversing vsh and quickly want to call a function.

The download contains a .sprx, a C++ dll. a C# dll and I've included a C# library with some examples to understand how it works.

  • Completely new fullscreen setup
  • You can now protect XMBPC with a password (will get updates with a lockscreen)

Upcoming PS4 Update to Add Share Enhancements and HDCP Off

19w ago - Sony Product Planning & Software Innovation Director Scott McCarthy announced that an upcoming PS4 update will add Share Enhancements and HDCP Off to the PlayStation 4 gaming console!

Below are all the details, to quote: Here at PlayStation, we listen closely to your comments and requests, which are weighted heavily when looking at the future of our platforms.

Since PlayStation 4 launched, we've heard a lot of great feedback from you about what you like with the platform and what you'd like to see us work on. I'm happy to report that, as a direct result of your feedback, we'll soon be bringing some of your most-requested features to PS4 with a system software update in the upcoming weeks.

These features and additions will help make your PS4 even more socially connected by further enabling you to customize your most epic gaming moments and granting even more options to show them to your friends.

This upcoming update will add a rich video editor with a simple tool to personalize your video clips, and you'll also be able to export to and save the videos and screenshots you create by pressing the SHARE button to a USB drive.

In addition, this update will add an HDCP off option for capturing gameplay via HDMI, a feature we've previously said would come after launch....
