171w ago - Sony's Product Marketing Manager Wilson Cheng has invited fans to play inFamous 2 on PS3 at PAX 2010 this weekend.
To quote: If you are going to PAX this weekend, I wanted to let you know that inFAMOUS 2 will have its very own booth space at the show!
Sucker Punch will be on hand and we'll have 7 kiosks featuring a demo of the game that will feature Cole's new melee weapon (the "Amp") and a new power called the Ionic Vortex.
Our booth number is #122 so swing on by to get your inFAMOUS destruction on! We'll also be giving away a limited number of t-shirts to players until we run out.
If that wasn't awesome enough news, the inFAMOUS 2 team will also be holding a panel on the topic of "Creating Super Powers" and showing some new gameplay featuring a power called the Kinetic Pulse, and a new enemy, the Ravager. Details are below, so hope to see you there!
171w ago - Guerrilla Games Producer Aryeh Loeb has revealed today that the Killzone 3 PS3 Multiplayer hands on will be premiering at PAX 2010.
To quote: If you're heading to the 2010 Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Washington this weekend, we've got a bit of a treat for you: Killzone 3 will be there, and YOU can go hands-on with the game's multiplayer mode!
This will be the first time the Killzone 3 multiplayer mode is accessible to the public, so we're really anxious to hear what you think. To make sure as many people as possible get a shot, we've got 16 multiplayer pods set up, with 8v8 matches rolling over constantly.
On top of that there'll be seven single-player pods available, three of which sport glorious 3D! We'll be giving away Killzone swag bags at the booth so make sure you get down there early since quantities are limited.
So be sure to visit the Killzone 3 booth at PAX 2010 (that'd be the one patrolled by Helghast Troopers), to get your first taste of the game's single and multiplayer modes. And bring your buddies, because Brutal Melee is also part of the package.
One last thing: keep your eyes out for collectible art cards we're giving out at the Killzone 3 booth with the image above....

To quote: Dragons, gold, jewels, and princesses – they'll all be on display at PAX next month when Hoard makes its first appearance to the general public!
For those of you that don't know, Hoard is an arcade action title coming to PSN (both for PS3 and PSP). In this score-attack game, up to four players take the part of small dragons with very big ambitions, and try to amass a hoard of glittering treasure in over 30 different kingdoms.
How do you get treasure, you ask? By BURNING things, of course! And kidnapping princesses for ransom... At the Big Sandwich Games booth (#3012), we'll have two screens of non-stop dragon combat action, swag, and prizes for a daily high-score competition. Oh, and we'll also have a real, honest-to-goodness princess. So come get your firebreathing on!
Since our last post, we can confirm four-player co-op play has been added to the game – thanks for all the comments! That rounds our feature set out with Treasure, Princess Rush, Hoard (Survival), and Co-op modes. We support...
193w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer has shared some pictures and details from PAX East 2010: The Naughty Dog LIVE PS3 game design panel today.
To quote: We've all returned - and mostly recuperated - from our trip to Boston this past weekend to attend PAX East.
It was both a pleasure and an honor to make it out for the inaugural PAX on the East Coast, not only to attend the show, but also to participate in panels.
Everyone at Penny Arcade deserves all our gratitude for putting together such a smooth first - and completely sold out PAX in Boston. We're looking forward to PAX East 2011!
We weren't expecting the massive turnout for our panel on Saturday, "Naughty Dog LIVE: Game Design with the Dogs." When I got to the Naga Theater to setup for our panel, the line waiting to get in was insane - and it was a whole half-hour before our panel was due to start. I heard some people had been waiting in line for over an hour at one point.
It was sad to hear that PAX Enforcers had to turn away a...
