62w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton has outlined the PlayStation Plus October 2012 content for subscribers today.
Below are all the details, to quote: With Autumn well and truly upon us, what better way to shrug off the gathering gloom than by looking forward to a great month of PlayStation Plus content?
And, I hope you agree, it is indeed something of a whopper, with two massive blockbuster games coming to your Instant Game Collection, along with a weird and wonderful PSN platformer from Sega.
First things first, as of tomorrow Plus members get free access to Hell Yeah! Wrath of Dead Rabbit. As should be made evident by the trailer below, it's an absolutely insane side-scroller that sees you step into the shoes of a demonic rabbit hell-bent on vengeance after pictures of him in the shower make it onto the internet. It's been picking up some great reviews - make sure you check it out.

To celebrate the occasion, we have a few treats for you!
LittleBigPlanet DLC Costume Cross-Compatibility!
Customization is a BIG part of LittleBigPlanet. Being able to modify your Sackboy or Sackgirl is a way for players to personalize their experience, while also bringing a variety of different franchises and entertainment properties into the LBP universe.
We recognize this and have decided that we can't ask all you LittleBigPlaneteers to fully enjoy the upcoming LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting without an amazing assortment of costumes at your disposal.
So, we're going to let you bring the costumes that you bought for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 along with you... at no extra cost!
Not only that, but for any new costumes that take your fancy, you will only ever need to purchase the costume once and you'll have access to it across LittleBigPlanet...
77w ago - Sony Brazil Blog Manager Fabio Santana has outlined Resident Evil 6 for PS3 in an interview today, which arrives on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system this October.
Below are the details from the interview, to quote: At E3 2012, Capcom offered a glimpse of the three different scenarios we'll be playing in Resident Evil 6.
Players could enjoy a co-op between Leon Kennedy and newcomer Helena Harper in classic survival-horror style in a Tall Oaks full of zombies, face a boss battle with Jake Muller (son of longtime series baddie Albert Wesker) and Sherry Birkin (aka the little girl from RE2), or battle across the rooftops of China with Chris Redfield and his partner Tony Ponce.
But the company also revealed a new feature behind closed doors: the Crossover system, an evolution of the dual-threaded Scenario mechanic from Resident Evil 2, this time not only intersecting the story of different characters but also bringing their gameplay together in four-player co-op situations.
To demonstrate Crossover, Capcom's developers played a scene where Leon and Helena meet with Jake and Sherry in China. En route via airplane, the US agents are attacked by a B.O.W. (that's Bio-Organic Weapon for the uninitiated) and crash. Wesker's son and his young partner are already on the ground...
82w ago - Sony Producer Hector Sanchez is here with a video below that outlines the techniques used in the mastering of Mastering Mortal Kombat for PS Vita!
To quote: Mortal Kombat for PS Vita has come out of the gate strong after shipping on May 1st.
In just two weeks, players have clashed in hundreds of thousands of online matches across the world. With the PS Vita system players can access a complete Mortal Kombat experience on the go, whether you're on the bus, in the library, or hanging out with friends.
There are quite a few unique features with this Vita version of Mortal Kombat. While preserving the core gameplay elements, we've implemented a ton of new functionalities, such as touchscreen Fatalities and X-Rays, as well as an all-new Challenge Tower II that takes advantage of the diversity of features that the PS Vita system provides.
One question that we continue to see on our official @MK_MortalKombat Twitter is: "Netherrealm, I can't beat Mission XXX in the new Challenge Tower!
Can you help?" Why, yes we can! To answer, we decided to put together some Tips and Tricks videos to outline strategies for some of the more difficult missions within the Challenge Tower II (it's not called Easy Tower!).
92w ago - For those who are not PlayStation Plus subscribers, today Associate Product Marketing Manager Brian Dunn has outlined how you can still obtain Journey early access alongside pre-order program details below.
To quote: If you have been following Journey, then you're probably as excited as I am about its release next week on March 13, as the first game in our Spring Fever event this year.
The reviews so far have been fantastic, and I can't wait to get online and experience the game online with other Journey fans.
If you caught Friday's update from Kellee, the last line of her post about big news coming Monday probably had you wondering what sort of news might be coming.
Well, earlier this morning I'm sure you saw this month's PS Plus blog post revealing that Journey will be available this week for all PS Plus members, one week ahead of the normal release date. What's more, this early access purchase comes with a bonus, an exclusive PS3 dynamic theme featuring some concept art from the game.
And if you're not a Plus member, we are also launching a special pre-order program as well. You'll be able to put your money down for the game and get hold...
