NIS America Announces Mugen Souls Officially Hits PSN Tuesday

50°
84w ago - NIS America Inc's Chris King announced that Mugen Souls officially hits PSN on Tuesday with details below.

To quote: Greetings, doods! I hope you've all been well! Chris King here, dropping by to let you know that our JRPG title, Mugen Souls, is set to release on PlayStation Network on Tuesday!

I'd like to briefly go over some of the game's awesome features and mechanics for those unfamiliar with the game, and will gladly answer any questions you might have for us! Let's get started!

The story contains all the over-the-top humor and zaniness you've come to expect from NISA. You'll enter a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors... These worlds exist and act independent of one another.

This has allowed them to develop and nurture rich, unique cultures. Then one day, a decree was sent out... "I'm gonna make everything in each of these worlds bow to me!" What a bold statement!

But by whom, you ask? None other than the multiple-personality-having, naively egotistical yet strangely adorable Chou-Chou! Your goal as Chou-Chou is to conquer the universe by uniting these seven worlds, and force everything and everyone to become your loyal peons! An undisputed God at her finest!

The gameplay system...

Sony Announces Munch's Oddysee HD Officially Hits PSN Today

50°
104w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray has announced that Munch's Oddysee HD officially hits PSN today!

Below are the details, to quote: Munch the Gabbit is now in HD! The team at Just Add Water, with help from the programming staff at [Register or Login to view links], worked hard over the last 18 months to bring you an updated version of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee on PS3.

Gamers met the crazy planet of Oddworld back on the original PlayStation, with Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus quickly becoming classics.

If you played those games, you'll remember the reluctant hero's destiny to rescue his fellow Mudokons from corporate slavery at the hands of Glukkon Companies Rupture Farms and SoulStorm Brewery.

Munch first burst onto our screens in 2002 (on that other console that sounds like egg-fox), following in the footsteps of the now-classic Abe games. Another reluctant hero, the diminutive Munch, is the last of his kind.

His mission: To escape from the evil Vykkers Labs, save all the lab animals and liberate a can of Gabbiar, using the eggs to get his species going again. All with the help of Abe, of course!

We have no doubt that one look at these screenshots will bring all those childhood memories rushing back. Just don't cry on...
