29w ago - Sony PlayStation Digital Platforms Community Manager Cade Peterson has shared some launch video footage today announcing that Assassin's Creed III and ACIII Liberation arrive tomorrow with PlayStation exclusives!
To quote: The time has come, PlayStation Assassins! We are very pleased to announce that both Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed III Liberation will be available tomorrow on PS3 and PS Vita, respectively.
To celebrate, we'd first like to draw your attention to our Assassin's Creed III launch trailer, which you can watch below!
As an exciting bonus for our PlayStation Assassins, PS3 players will get day-one access to four exclusive missions at no extra cost.
The bonus missions cover one of the most dastardly betrayals in American history: the treachery of Benedict Arnold! We don't want to give too much away, but fortunately we have a trailer that goes over a few key details...
Starting tomorrow afternoon with the PlayStation Store update, PS3 owners will be able to download the four PlayStation-exclusive missions (note: you may have to play up to a certain progress point in the main game in order to actually access them).
32w ago - Sony Social Media Manager Sid Shuman has shared a Retro City Rampage launch trailer video for PS3 and PS Vita today, with the title arriving this Tuesday for fans.
To quote: After months (years?) of anticipation, the big moment is almost here: VBlank Entertainment's long-gestating 8-bit open-world homage Retro City Rampage comes to PS3 and PS Vita tomorrow on PSN, complete with the ever-coveted Cross Buy and Cross Save features.
If you've never heard of Retro City Rampage, a) shame on you and b) I scarcely know where to begin! Imagine jamming all your favorite 8-bit games into a sprawling open world ala Grand Theft Auto and you'll have a rough sense of this game's special brand of pixelated magic.
Retro City Rampage has more than 60 Story missions that span driving, stealth, platforming, shooting, swimming, and questing (just to name a few) as well as 40 Arcade challenges if you're in need of a quick release.
Looking for more numbers? Try these: 25+ weapons and power-ups, 50+ driveable vehicles, and 2.5 hours of glorious chiptune symphonies. And let's not forget what might be the most important number of all: $14.99.
Let's give the freshly released launch trailer a looksee!

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood picks up immediately following the events of AC2, and follows Ezio as he delves deep into the heart of corruption in Rome, and rises to a position of prominence and leadership in the Brotherhood.
In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio has become an older, wiser leader of the Assassins... his path will lead him to exotic Constantinople in search of truth, but will he find it within the ancient homelands of the Assassins?

35w ago - Today Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata confirmed Wii U specs (PDF) during a Japanese presentation alongside Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime discussing the Wii U retail bundles release date, pricing, specifications and launch software.
Below are the details and video, as follows:
The Nintendo Wii U will launch in the US on November 18, 2012 for $299.99 for the basic 8GB version and $349.99 for the deluxe 32GB version that comes complete with extra accessories and the Nintendo Land video game.
In Europe Nintendo's Wii U handheld will launch on November 30, and in Japan the Wii U will launch on December 8, 2012 costing 26,250 Yen for the basic model and 31,000 Yen for the premium model and will also have 8GB and 32GB capacity respectively.
This storage will be used for game saves, game data, and other content downloaded from the Nintendo Network. Wii U game discs will be 25GB each so by the looks of it game installs won't be possible, well not on launch at least. Both SKUs will include HDMI cables an AC adapters for the console and Wii U Gamepad. The Wii U measures 46 mm x 172 mm x 268.5 mm horizontally, it can also be placed vertically.
