To quote: VERSION [2.30] FEB/12/2014 - PSNPatch 2.30 Changelog:

  • IDPS locating and spoofing compatible with 4.55+ firmwares

NOTE: It's a new algorithm, but still NOT based in fixed offsets in order to assure (or at least try to assure) compatibility with all present (and hopefully) future firmware versions.

Note that on 4.55 after disabling cfw it will not be possible to display the current IDPS and PSID (real or spoofed). All previous firmware versions should behave as until today.

Killzone: Mercenary MP Open Beta in Late August, Closed Beta Live Now

100°
55w ago - Sony PlayStation Public Relations Manager Aram Jabbari revealed today that the Killzone: Mercenary MP Open Beta for PS Vita arrives in late August while the Closed Beta is live now.

To quote: We're excited to announce that the Killzone: Mercenary closed multiplayer beta (for which signups were held a short while ago and already concluded, if you're just tuning in now) is now LIVE. To those who got in, you should already have the necessary information to jump in and get going.

Note: If you received a multiplayer Beta voucher as part of the promotion via PlayStation Home, please note that your voucher is for the Open Beta in late August, not for the closed Beta launching today.

To those of you who didn't get in or are just hearing about this now, worry not: we're going to open the multiplayer beta right on up in late August - details will be coming really soon, so stay tuned.

And really, who doesn't like a good open beta? They're a bit draftier. They let in more natural light. Better for Agoraphobes and such.

Killzone: Mercenary hits shelves in North America on September 10th, 2013.

Atomic Ninjas Storm PS3 and PlayStation Vita Later This Year

50°
66w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska announced today that Atomic Ninjas is set to storm PS3 and also PlayStation Vita later this year with details below.

To quote: Hello everybody! This is Jakub from Grip Games! We're the folks behind 5-in-1 Arcade Hits, The Impossible Game and Foosball 2012. And after being locked up in our top secret underground lab (A.K.A. the garage) for some time, we're back with our newest creation - Atomic Ninjas for PS3 and PS Vita.

So, what's this all about, you ask? Atomic Ninjas is 2.5D multiplayer platformer with ninjas. You will control super-powered ninjas in frantic online matches against other players, with tonnes of charm and humor. If the Fat Princess and Crash Commando had a child, it would be Atomic Ninjas (though that idea is a bit disturbing, no?).

While the game relies on traditional jumping and shooting mechanics, you will be unable to directly kill other players. Instead, you must outsmart and outflank your opponents and kill them using various environmental hazards and obstacles, such as lava pits, laser beams, traps, moving platforms, falling crates, etc. Don't forget that these are Atomic Ninjas... something as banal as a katana between the ribs won't do the trick anymore!

Each one of the game's seven arenas is like a playfield...
