47w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton has officially announced that PlayStation Network will be down for scheduled maintenance later this week from July 26th to the 27th.

Below are the details, to quote: PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on Thursday 26th July 2012 until 08:00 on Friday 27th July 2012, BST.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:

• PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PS Vita.
• PlayStation Network Account Management.
• PlayStation Network Account Registration.

If you wish to play online during the maintenance, then you may be able to do so if you sign in to PSN before the start of the maintenance window. However, please note that all the services listed above will not be available, even if you are signed into the Network.

During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.

Good old zombies shuffle their way in line in this week's Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, now available as two individual titles.

Disney Pixar's Brave for PlayStation 3 also sees new territories added to it - Austria, Germany, Spain and Switzerland can now play the game based on Disney Pixar's latest movie. More territories will be added in the coming week. Stay tuned.
