3w ago - Shin'en CEO Manfred Linzner posted up a video today announcing that Nano Assault NEO-X is hitting PS4 on November 11th, 2014.

Below are the details, to quote: Extreme arcade action! A fresh sci-fi setting! Two-player split-screen! A pounding soundtrack!

That's all in Nano Assault NEO-X, our PS4 debut game. We've been doing action games for 15 years. All that experience went directly into creating our latest game, and we're really looking forward to the reactions of PS4 owners.

What's in it? Blast viruses in a microscopic world. Battle gigantic boss creatures. Collect credits to upgrade your ship with powerful weapons to survive. Collect the B-O-N-U-S letters to enter the bonus round for quick extra credits.

The best thing about Nano Assault NEO-X is the microscopic cellular world for you to explore. Ever looked through a scanning electron microscope? That's our game world. You traverse the outer hull of cells and fight infections in twin-stick, shooter style. Sound exciting? It really is!

We're quite proud of the look and feel of that world. Super smooth 60 frames per second gameplay, 1080p visuals, 7.1 surround sound, non-stop action, hyperspeed bonus rounds, gorgeous light effects, two-player...

Kalio Announces Ring Run Circus Hits PS Vita on November 11th

50°
3w ago - Kalio's Ciro Mondueri announced today that Ring Run Circus hits PS Vita on November 11th, 2014 with details below.

To quote: Hello, readers! My name is Ciro and I'm part of Kalio, a small independent studio in Uruguay.

We are thrilled to announce that our latest game Ring Run Circus will be launching on PS Vita and Playstation TV on November 11th, 2014. The launch price will be $9.99, with PS Plus members receiving a 20% off discount for a limited time.

Ring Run Circus is a unique sort of game which we like to call a "ring-former": an action-puzzle game set in a dream world of connected rings. Players take the role of three uniquely talented acrobats - Nina, Ned, and Nelson - and help them navigate this strange world full of hazards, circus animals, and tricky puzzles.

The goal of each level is to grab the colorful key and get to the exit door as quickly as possible leaving no stars behind. The controls are quite simple; one button to ride on the outside or inside of the rings, and another one to activate each acrobat's special ability: Nina jumps, Ned punches, and Nelson triggers mechanisms to move rings around.

Don't let the seemingly simple controls deceive you, though. There is enough challenge waiting, not only for your skill - proper timing to change...

P.T. on PlayStation 4: Survival Tips for Konami's PS4 Horror Hit

400°
4w ago - Konami Community Manager Su-Yina Farmer shared some PlayStation 4 survival tips today for Konami's PS4 horror hit P.T. below.

To quote: Forget the pumpkin spice lattes, Halloween is all about scaring the bejesus out of yourself and those around you.

So what better way to celebrate than turning the lights off, grabbing a headset or turning up your surround system (essential for the full immersive experience) and starting up P.T. - it's free to download on PS Store!

Sure, you can watch the countless videos populating the Internet of horrified gamers, but there's nothing more satisfying than completing the game yourself and obtaining that 'I Played P.T. to the End and Survived' kudos. It's an experience you won't forget.

If you're too terrified to try P.T. out, or have dipped your toe into the game but need a bit of guidance, let me hold your hand and give you a few hints and tips!

Firstly, you'll notice that P.T. plays in a loop: you'll visit the same corridor, but each time something will be different.

You should take the time to inspect and interact with everything: pictures on the walls, items on the floor. Listen closely and pay attention, the devil is in the details after all. Did a door just open? And don't forget to look up...

Indie Horror Game Home Hits PS4 October 28th, PS Vita Soon After

350°
5w ago - Benjamin Rivers Inc Director Benjamin Rivers confirmed today that Indie horror game Home hits PS4 on October 28th, 2014 with a PS Vita version to follow soon after.

To quote: It was announced that the horror game Home was coming to PlayStation this year, and I am very excited to say that the PS4 version of the game will be launching October 28th - just in time for Halloween!

This horror adventure is a player-driven story that responds to your choices; taking cues from adventure games as well as side-scrollers, what happens in Home is entirely up to the player.

As you make choices and even explore, the game changes in subtle ways to reflect your adventure. I like to think of it as the kind of game you'll immediately want to talk about with other players as soon as you finish it, just to compare notes.

The Vita version will follow very soon after - I honestly just couldn't wait to get the PS4 version into players' sweaty hands. But Vita owners, fear not: Home supports cross buy, so you'll get both versions of the game for the same price anyway, even if you get the PS4 version!

The only one who'll be more scared is my accountant; for the first two weeks I'm having a launch sale, so both versions of Home together will be available for the so-spooky-it-can't-be-real...
