186w ago - Yesterday we saw the launch trailer for Red Dead Redemption on PS3, and today Examiner.com (linked above) has revealed that the PlayStation 3 version will be getting some exclusive content similar to what was done in Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Additionally, the rear box art indicates Red Dead Redemption will require 600MB of PS3 HDD space for the installation.
To quote: "Very similar to Batman: Arkham Asylum, which had the exclusive feature of playing as the Joker, Red Dead Redemption will also feature some exclusive to hopefully sway the consumers mind towards the PS3 version.
It did work with Batman and the title ended up outselling the Xbox 360 likely due to that reason.
The exclusive content will be Solomon's Folly Gang Hideout and Walton Gang Outfit - according to the retail box. The content is included for free and packed in the game's casing."

To quote: We're hard at work finishing up Toy Story 3: The Video Game, due for release on June 15th. Toy Story 3 is much more than your average movie-based game.
The game gives players two ways to experience Toy Story 3: Story Mode and Toy Box Mode, a sandbox style of gameplay set in the Toy Story universe.
In Story Mode, the player plays as Buzz, Woody, and Jessie, each with their own unique play style, to play through eight action platforming levels.
While not a complete retelling of the movie plot, the player will visit some of the places, and meet some of the new and classic characters that are in the film. We take the player to some totally new places as well. Also in Story Mode, we've stashed all of our collectibles. The collectibles, when found, allow the player to unlock new toys...

267w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment UK managing director Ray Maguire has told VideoGamer that "nothing is ever exclusive" in response to questions surrounding exclusive DLC on Microsoft's Xbox 360.
Microsoft has tied up Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content for some of this year's biggest games, including GTA 4, Fallout 3 and Tomb Raider: Underworld, leading to complaints from some PS3 owners that Sony isn't doing enough for them.
However, speaking to VideoGamer at the Games 3.0 conference in London earlier this week, Maguire rejected those complaints, saying he would "much rather that we (Sony) were investing money into making sure that we've got great R&D and we start producing games like LittleBigPlanet rather than paying other people a huge amount of money to stop people playing their product."
Maguire's "nothing is ever exclusive" comment is certain to add fuel to speculation that the high profile GTA 4 DLC that is due for release exclusively on the Xbox 360 will eventually make its way to the PS3.
Back in May, SCEE boss David Reeves told VideoGamer.com in that PS3-owners "probably will see" GTA 4 DLC, and described the deal as "the last shot they (Microsoft) have".
When asked if he had any message for PS3-owners who feel frustrated at the fact that they won't...
