New on PlayStation Store: Destiny, Hyperdimension, FIFA15 Demo

50°
15w ago - Today Jawad Ashraf from Sony's PlayStation Store team returns with this weeks European PSN content update, which includes Destiny, Hyperdimension, a FIFA15 demo and more below!

To quote: In the event that you haven't already got stuck in, Destiny, on PS3 and PS4, is available right now. Bungie's all new first person shooter lets you customise your character, weapons, class and more.

Take your character along the campaign, or play together with a friend in cooperative modes. There's a lot to get stuck into, and a vast solar system to explore.

If you have time to spare this week, then check out a fresh demo for FIFA15 on both PS3 and PS4. Feel how the game has changed since FIFA14, make terrible excuses to yourself on why your shots are off target, and enjoy slick new goal keeper animations before the full game arrives in a few weeks.

Also releasing this week, anime fans can get stuck into Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1 on PS Vita, or Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution for PS3. And if you missed it last week, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is also available for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

Lastly, we have lots of old school games on offer, extra discounts on selected EA titles and new deals of the week.

To quote: Hi everybody - Since we're just days away from the launch of [Register or Login to view links] on PS4 and PS3, I wanted to let you know that the game is now available for pre-load on PlayStation Store in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Here are your options for pre-loading Destiny:

• Take no action; Destiny will begin automatically downloading, provided that "auto-download" has been enabled on your PS4 or PS3. Over the next few days, your system will check for updates and the game will begin downloading by Monday, in time for the release on Tuesday.

• If you can't wait until then, you can enable the download manually. In PlayStation Store, navigate to the Destiny game page and click the "download" button. If you haven't yet preordered, you can preorder and then begin downloading.

Video: Destiny: Remote Play Hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita

50°
16w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Manager Sid Shuman posted up a video today showcasing Destiny remote play hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita consoles.

To quote: Destiny is just days away! I wanted to share a quick video showing off its Remote Play experience, which enables you to wirelessly stream the game from your PS4 to your PS Vita.

I spent some time playing Destiny via Remote Play during the Beta and I was really impressed with not only how good it looked on PS Vita's vivid 5-inch screen, but also how responsive it was. The team over at Bungie actually optimized the controls for Destiny on PS Vita via Remote Play.

Check out the full control scheme (below).

One of the things we noticed during the week of the Destiny Beta was that a lot of PS4 owners were streaming Destiny to their PS Vitas via Remote Play.

In fact, Destiny was the No. 1 title for Remote Play during the entire month of July, racking up the most Remote Play sessions of any PS4 title.
