New Sony PlayStation and PSN Games for December 9, 2014

500°
2w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with the new PlayStation and PSN games for the upcoming week today as follows:

My goodness! This weekend has been absolutely packed with announcements coming out of PlayStation Experience here in Las Vegas.

From new No Man's Sky footage to the (official) Street Fighter V reveal, it's been a steady stream of content all for you, the PlayStation family.

And there's more on the way! Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is coming to PS4 this week. A sequel to the critically acclaimed Guardian of Light, Temple of Osiris once again features multiplayer challenges, puzzles, and a brand new story in Lara's incredible world.

That's not all, friends: Suikoden II is coming to PlayStation as a digital PSone classic. Yes, it's happening. The iconic adventure, along with the 108 Stars of Destiny, returns to PlayStation.

If you've never played it before, now's a fine time to experience the rich story, varied battle systems, and multiple endings that earned it a place in the RPG community's big ol' heart.

Lastly, please excuse the streamlined formatting of today's post- it's the result of swimming up a river of great games here in Vegas. Read on for a full list of new games coming next week, and enjoy the Drop!

3w ago - Edge of Reality's Greg Bauman confirmed today that Loadout launches on PS4 this December 16th, and invites PlayStation 4 fans to play it at PS Experience!

To quote: Hey, PlayStation fans! Greg Bauman here from Edge of Reality, the lunatics behind [Register or Login to view links].

Last week, we told you that Loadout was going to launch on PS4 in the near future, but today I'm here to tell you just how near the future is: you'll be able to download and play Loadout for free via PlayStation Store on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014.

We've put together a launch trailer that shows off all the incredible stuff that PS4 players are going to get this month. Seriously, we've got a lot in store for everyone.

It's not just the billions of guns - we'd feel downright rude if we weren't including the billions of guns. No, there's way more that we've packed into Loadout. Take a look at some of it here... and pay attention near the end for an extra treat!

We agonized for weeks over what we ought to get you guys for the holidays. I mean, we were already giving you all these guns and all the ammo to go with them - so what do...

XDev Announces Resogun is Blasting to PS3 and PS Vita on 12/23

50°
3w ago - XDev Studio Europe's Pedro Sousa announced today that Resogun is blasting to PS3 and PS Vita on December 23, 2014.

To quote: Epic explosions; voxels crumbling in raging torrents; impossible maneuvers to dodge dozens of enemies. One year later, Resogun is still as mesmerizing as it ever has been on PS4, and I'm pleased to announce today that Resogun is coming to PS3 and PS Vita for $14.99.

That's right Resofans, starting December 23rd you'll be able to save the last humans anywhere, anytime.

The development team at Climax has done everything possible to make the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game the very best they can be for each device, and I think you'll be very impressed with what they have managed to achieve.

Picking a game that was created specifically for PS4 and bringing it to PS Vita and PS3 is very difficult, and the hardest compromise to accept during development, especially in regard to performance and graphics, is that these platforms don't have the capability and power of PS4.

Duly, the biggest technical difference is that the PS Vita and PS3 games run at 30 instead of 60 frames per second. This was a very difficult decision to consider, but a very necessary one to allow the team to focus on what was possible and to make the best game possible...
