Now you can enjoy the same powerful new moves and acclaimed in-depth fighting system with over 20 playable characters and blockbuster stages from the PlayStation 3 version. Today I would like to tell you about a few of the new features we've included in the PS Vita version.
Dead or Alive 5+ will have cross-platform compatibility with PS3, which means you fight not only against other players on PlayStation Vita, but also against players on PS3. All characters available on PS3 can be used on PS Vita as well.
Battles run at 60fps for both systems, so there's no lag or stress even when playing cross-platform. This will allow players to enjoy serious battles across the two platforms!
Many have questioned us about the DLC content. Yes, the DLC content can be shared between PS3 and PS Vita, so players can play with their desired costumes wherever and whenever they want. We will have delivered over 100 costumes as DLC by the end...
27w ago - Sony Social Media Manager Sid Shuman has announced that The Walking Dead Episode 5: No Time Left hits PSN tomorrow alongside a fresh video trailer below.
To quote: It's all been leading up to this! Tomorrow, Telltale Games releases what they've dubbed the "season finale" of The Walking Dead, which I suppose bodes well for the possibility of future installments.
For me, Telltale's series represents the best of the adventure genre, with likeable characters, grim scenarios, and a player-guided narrative.
I've made no secret that The Walking Dead has quickly become one of my favorite gaming experiences of the year, and I'm dying to see how Lee Everett's final chapter plays out in this companion piece to Robert Kirkman's much-loved graphic novel series.
(Spoiler) Sad to say that Kenny won't be joining me on the final journey, though. What about you? Who are you taking with you?
28w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton has shared a Dead Space 3 interview with fans today announcing that the Sci-fi Survival Horror Multiplayer game is getting a make-over.
Below are the details, to quote: Next February sees the release of the third main entry in EA's critically lauded sci-fi survival horror series, Dead Space.
While the first two games followed very similar templates, the latest installment really mixes things up by introducing full co-op play to the main campaign.
The optional drop-in, drop-out multiplayer lets a second player join in the story as new character Sergeant John Carver. While the game is fully playable as a solo experience, if you play with friend you'll have an expanded story and get to experience a number of extra sequences and set-pieces.
We sat down with the game's producer Steve Papoutsis to find out how - and why - developer Visceral Games has implemented this new system and what fans of the series can expect from reluctant hero Isaac Clarke's latest adventure.
PlayStation.Blog: What goals did you set yourself when you first started work on Dead Space 3?
Steve Papoutsis, Producer of Dead Space 3: When we started...
34w ago - Today Writer Gary Whitta has confirmed that The Walking Dead: Episode 4 - Around Every Corner is coming soon alongside a new video trailer and screens below.
To quote: Congratulations. You've made it. You've survived. This far.
If you're reading this blog, that means you've probably already played the first three installments of Telltale Games' episodic video game adaptation of Robert Kirkman's never-ending zombie epic The Walking Dead. And you've been put through an emotional meat grinder unparalleled in interactive storytelling.
You've had to deal not just with the dead rising up, but with the living brought low as the scattered and desperate survivors of the zombie apocalypse have struggled to hold onto their humanity under impossible pressure.
You've seen murder, cannibalism, fear, paranoia, insanity, betrayal, and even the tragic death of an innocent child. And all I can say to you after all that is, I'm sorry. Because it's about to get worse. Much worse.
At the close of Episode 3, Lee Everett and his fellow survivors were just about to arrive by train in Savannah, where Kenny, distraught after the recent loss of his wife and son, has pinned all his hopes on finding a boat that can carry the group to safety.
35w ago - Sega of America Community Manager Kellie Parker has shared a video announcing that Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is out on PSN today!
Below are the details, to quote: Have you heard about Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit? If not, you are truly missing out on a totally amazing, incredibly ridiculous, and completely hilarious adventure. I am not making that up. You legit need this game in your life.
Hell Yeah! puts you in control of Ash, a devil rabbit and the prince of Hell. As so many celebrities are these days, Ash is the victim of a vicious smear campaign as somebody posts scandalous bath-time images of him up on the 'Hell-ternet'. This is a really good way to piss off the prince of Hell.
Ash gets so pissed off, in fact, that he wants to make sure that everyone who saw the photos dies. It's a totally reasonable, logical response, right?
This is where you help Ash achieve his goal to destroy all of the monsters of Hell who have seen him in all his naked and embarrassing glory. And that turns out to be a whole lot of fun.
Although you start the game with nothing, Ash very quickly starts accruing some awesome gadgetry to help with the monster destruction. It all starts with the painful looking "Jet-pack Driller", which does exactly what it sounds like....
