Video: Everybody Dance Dated, Track List and Software Bundle

153w ago - Today International Software Development Senior Manager David Thach has announced a release date, track list and software bundle for Everybody Dance alongside a video trailer below.

To quote: I'm happy to announce that Everybody Dance, this year's hottest high-energy party game for PlayStation 3, is launching in North America on October 18!

Starting on the 18th, you'll be able to pick up a copy of Everybody Dance for $39.99, or a bundle pack for $99.99 which includes a copy of the game, a PlayStation Move motion controller and a PlayStation Eye camera, so you'll have everything that you need to get your dance party started.

Join the fun as you dance to 40 tracks alongside the authentic music videos from top artists like Usher, LMFAO, Duck Sauce and more! Using the PlayStation Move motion controller and PlayStation Eye camera to track your performances, you'll be able to dance solo or have a friend join in for cooperative partner routines and competitive dance battles.

You can also play with 19 of your friends in a dance off using Everybody Dance's Party Play mode. Best of all, you'll be able to use the PlayStation Eye camera to capture your performances so that you can upload videos to everybodydancegame.com and then send links to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
 

Retailer Reveals Resistance 3 PS3 Setting, Dated for March 2011

209w ago - Today online retailer [Register or Login to view links] has revealed what is purported to be the Resistance 3 PS3 setting, sample boxart (below) and a release date of March 24, 2011.

While there is no official confirmation yet from Sony nor Insomniac Games beyond the previously reported developer profile and gameplay survey, the setting of Resistance 3 for PlayStation 3 appears to be in New York based on the boxart logo which matches the Resistance 3 billboard and product description, as follows:

"Continue the fight against the Chimera invasion in Resistance 3, as the battle moves to New York City and humanity makes its final stand."

To quote: "The billboard for Resistance 3 gives a vague clue on the plot of the game. For Resistance 3, the A in the billboard clearly illustrates the Statue of Liberty, indicating New York City will be the game's primary setting.

Championship Manager for PSP and PS3 Minis Detailed & Dated

221w ago - Today Brand Manager Tim Hodges has detailed and dated Championship Manager for both PSP and PS3 Minis, which will hit PlayStation Network at the end of the month.

To quote: Championship Manager 2010 will be available to download from the PlayStation Network around Europe as of the 29th of April for just £4.99 (€5.99). That's less than one week to wait before you can take on one of the toughest jobs on earth.

In addition to the new screenshots you can see here, which also answer a few people's questions about whether or not the game will contain real player and team names, we've also put together a video that shows you a little bit more of the game.

Heavy Rain for PS3 Officially Dated, New Gameplay Videos Arrive

237w ago - Update #2: Mike Kebby from SCEE's PlayStation Store Team has now [Register or Login to view links] the Heavy Rain PS3 demo will be hitting the PlayStation Store on February 11, 2010.

Update: Sony has just confirmed that Heavy Rain will be hitting PS3 store shelves in [Register or Login to view links] on February 23, grace mainland [Register or Login to view links] on February 24, and hit the UK and Ireland on February 26, 2010... meaning the initial date Qore set of the 16th was inaccurate.

Today Examiner.com (linked above) has revealed that Qore Episode 20 dates the Heavy Rain North American PS3 release for February 16, 2010.

Additionally, [Register or Login to view links] has reported that the UK should see a February 26th street date for the PlayStation 3 title.

Gran Turismo 5 Dated at TGS 2009, Hits PS3 in March 2010

252w ago - After Sony's Keynote address, Kazunori Yamauchi has just announced at the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan press conference at the Tokyo Game Show that the official release date for Gran Turismo 5 is March 2010.

Additionally, the following GT5 modes and features were revealed:

• GT Mode: World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.
• Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.
• Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage.
• GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.

To quote: "Featuring lots of new cars, lifelike graphics, and amazing racing physics, GT5 will quickly become regarded as the top racing simulation game of all-time.

The game will feature over 950 cars, 20 locations, and 70 tracks.

A new YouTube feature will also be included along will a deep online mode including: open lobby, text/voice chat, private room, online photo album, online replay album, and you can export replays to YouTube."
