650°
31w ago - Following up on the previous version, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Dnawrkshp has updated NetCheat for PS3 DEX Consoles to version 3.0 with the changes outlined below.

Download: NetCheat_PS3.rar / NetCheat PS3 (Source Code) / GIT

To quote: NetCheat PS3 is a DEX Real Time Editing tool that takes advantage of the ps3tmapi_net.dll that comes with the PRoDG Debugger. This doesn't come with that dll, so you have to get it yourself and place it in the same directory as NetCheat. NC supports codes (similar to RAW PS2 codes), searching, dumping, memory ranges, and user made plugins. Here is a list of the new stuff since the last release:

  • Faster results list refreshing
  • Multiple searching bug fixes
  • Faster dumping
  • Keybinding
  • Theme selection
  • Custom plugins
  • Search stopping (keeps the results in the results list and allows Next Scan)
  • Deleting results

Plugins:

Plugins are...

650°
34w ago - Today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Dnawrkshp shared his creation released through veritassdg (aka Renton) dubbed NetCheat PS3 v2.0 for PlayStation 3 DEX consoles with details below.

Download: NetCheat.rar

To quote: Today I bring to you NetCheat for PS3.

NetCheat PS3
Written in C# by Dnawrkshp
#Idea from Veritassdg

Requirements:

  • DEX PS3
  • ProDG Target Manger and Debugger

Find the ps3tmapi_net.dll somewhere on the web, or move it from Program Files\SN Systems\PS3\bin (if you installed the PRoDG Debugger), and put it in the same directory as NetCheat PS3.

Whats New?

Added Range where you set the debugger range you want to scan. Double click on the range to edit it or hit add to make a new one. you can also save them into a .ncm (net cheat memory) which can be loaded every time you restart NetCheat. An .ncm file would look like this.

It goes Start address. end address. So far I have not found any bugs but if you do please post in the thread. The RAR/ZIP will come with everything you need to know to get started *not the ps3tmapi_net.dll*...

Blizzard: Diablo III on PlayStation 3 is Hand-Crafted for Consoles

250°
41w ago - Blizzard Entertainment Lead Designer Jason Bender proclaimed today that Diablo III on PlayStation 3 is hand-crafted for video game consoles.

He stated the following, to quote: I just got back from E3, where we had a good showing of the PlayStation 3 version of Diablo III and announced some cool PS3-exclusive items for the game.

The excitement and energy of the show reminded me of a time when people actually left the house to play videogames. Yes, I'm talking about arcades: magical places filled with vibrant colors, flashing lights, and the never-ending clink-clink-clink of tokens cascading out of a change machine.

There you could find the latest and greatest games--and people to play them with. Arcades were a uniquely social experience. You could hang out and have fun with friends, or you could make new ones while bonding over joysticks.

When we decided to bring Diablo III to console platforms, we wanted our four-player co-op to allow for the same spirit of fun that thrived in arcades. Our game had to allow for equal parts teamwork and trash talking, sweaty-palmed intensity and lighthearted mass destruction.

You might remember Gauntlet, the...

Video: Total Recoil Sets Its Sights on PlayStation Vita Consoles

42w ago - Eiconic Games Art and Creative Director Simon Credland shared a video today announcing that Total Recoil is setting its sights on PlayStation Vita consoles.

To quote: Atten-tion recruits! This is an intel report from Si at indie developer Eiconic Games in the UK. We're glad to report that Total Recoil is making its way to PS Vita on July 9.

Download it and enjoy an explosion of arcade shoot 'em up action. There are only two rules in Total Recoil...

• Shoot everything that moves!
• Shoot everything that doesn't!

It all started when I was "busy" (with my feet up) playing Call of Duty on PS3, thinking to myself "These shoot-em-ups have come a long way since the old arcade games." So this started me wondering how a modern game would look on an arcade cabinet.

It would be top-down, the characters would have large heads, there would be wave after wave of baddies with flamethrowers, huge tanks and attack copters - and this is what you get with Total Recoil.

But developing on the PS Vita is better than an arcade machine and gives us more control than mobile and tablet games - we've made use of all the PS Vita's controls. You use the left stick to move, the right stick to shoot and strafe. When you fire a missile you can trace its path...

To quote: A little over 15 years ago, what was then a small Japanese studio (headed up by Kazunori Yamauchi) embarked upon on a journey that would enrich the lives of many millions of gamers. The event will be a celebration of all that Gran Turismo has come to represent to a community of millions all over the world, and will involve many of the car manufacturers who have been part of that incredible 15 year journey.
