To quote: Judging from the comments, we caught you by surprise when we announced that MotorStorm RC is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in time for launch.

You all seem really excited about the game so I followed up with its director Paul Rustchynsky to discuss in more detail the vision, the Cross-Play with PS3 and PS Vita, and the social interactions that will be at the heart of MotorStorm RC.

If you have any further questions then please let us know in the comments and I'll get the answers.

Sony Confirms AT&T Mobility Ruling Spurred New PSN TOS Change

149w ago - Last week we reported that the PSN Terms were updated followed by how to Opt-Out of the new Class Action waiver, and today Sony confirms to CNN (linked above) that the [Register or Login to view links] ([Register or Login to view links]) US Supreme Court ruling earlier this year spurred the recent PlayStation Network TOS change.

To quote: "Sony said this week that the new terms-of-service changes were made, as some analysts suspected, in response to a Supreme Court decision in April. In that case, AT&T Mobility was permitted to include and enforce a clause in employment contracts that bars workers from bringing class-action suits.

"The Supreme Court recently ruled in the AT&T case that language like this is enforceable," a spokeswoman for Sony's PlayStation unit wrote in an e-mail.

"The updated language in the TOS is designed to benefit both the consumer and the company by ensuring that there is adequate time and procedures to resolve disputes."

Guide: How to Change the Region of Your PS3 Blu-ray Drive

100°
170w ago - Ever since the first PS3 JailBreak was out i was hoping for a region patcher so I can watch all the blu ray discs i own no matter if region a/b/c and nobody ever knew how... after lots of research and checking around i present to you 3 patch*.txt files for lv2 patcher!

Download: [Register or Login to view links] / [Register or Login to view links] by bitsbubba

just copy the files into: /dev_hdd0/game/LV2000000/USRDIR

and the next time you start lv2 patcher you will have 3 new patches to choose from (region a/b/c)

once you patch you don't have to restart your ps3, it works right away! if you restart your ps3 the bd region is set to standard again.

tested & working for me on pal cechcxx machine with 3.55cfw (rebug & kmeaw) using kmeaw's lv2 patcher v9!

this only works for blu ray and nothing else, for dvd the old xregistry trick applies... i didn't code anything, just collected and tested, sources for this can be found here:

PSIDPatch 1.0 Arrives, Change Your PS ID for PlayStation Network

800°
193w ago - Today stoker25 has [Register or Login to view links] PSIDPatch 1.0 which allows users to change their PS ID's for PlayStation Network, however, PSGroove notes that you must change them to a valid PSN ID versus a random Console ID as follows:

Download: PSIDPatch 1.0 with Source Code

"Changing your PSID to a fake one would protect your console from being permanently banned. However, reports are coming in that using a made up Console ID does not allow you on PSN. This probably means you'd need to swap your ID with another legitimate one."

To quote: Saw Mathiuelh talking about swapping PSIDs on his twitter, as soon as I saw him talking about extracting one from an LV2 dump I knew it would be possible to patch

PSID is your PlayStation's unique identifier to Sony, this program will patch the loaded PSID in memory to one of your choice. This won't permanently patch your PSID, but should let you fool PSN. Best way to try this is for somebody with a banned PS3 to try changing it and going online.

Made and tested on a 3.41 PS3... if your using a different version and patching doesn't work properly please contact me and we'll work out a fix.
