95w ago - International PR Manager Nadine Knobloch at BitComposer Entertainment AG has posted up a video today announcing that Air Conflicts: Secret Wars is flying onto PSN today.

To quote: We are delighted to announce our latest game Air Conflicts: Secret Wars which will be released throughout Europe on PSN today for €19.99/£15.99.

In case you've not heard about the game before, here's a short intro to whet your appetite and a trailer to give you a taste of what ACSW has in store.

Developed by bitComposer Games, Air Conflicts: Secret Wars is an arcade aerial combat simulation based on real scenarios in the First and Second World War.

You will fly and fight your way through a total of 49 exciting missions, and choose from numerous aircraft types with different features for each mission.

You will have to complete a range of tasks during the missions, including patrol flights, reconnaissance activities, lightning strikes, bomber and escort flights. Once you've completed the assignments, you can improve your skills that allow you to control your aircraft more expertly or even select a better co-pilot for example.

Escape Plan: Free Prequel PS3 DLC Bakuki's Lair with Patch 1.01

107w ago - Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced today that news of a free prequel PS3 DLC dubbed Bakuki's Lair with Patch 1.01 for Escape Plan.

To quote: On April 10th, Escape Plan owners will receive Bakuki's Lair, the first DLC Pack for Escape Plan, via download of Patch 1.01. This free DLC Pack adds 19 prequel puzzle rooms to the adventures of Lil and Laarg.

Our hapless heroes' journey begins anew with Lil and Laarg trapped in a hazardous sausage factory, where they will become bratwurst if they don't bail. You'll need to swipe for your life through a handful of dastardly designed puzzles in this latest update.

Lil is doomed... unless Laarg can figure out how this machine works

Bakuki's Lair is just one of the benefits of the upcoming patch. Escape Plan Patch 1.01 is a meaty new addition, with a host of tweaks and improvements based on player feedback.

Patch 1.01 allows for more pin-point accuracy on tap blocks, as well as an adjustment to the game's star rating system. We are also laying the foundation for a lot of exciting updates for Lil and Laarg in the future.

129w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer Rokiski at DemonHades has released what he calls Chaos Air Bringer, a PKG application that allows CFW users to change their PS3 MAC address on Custom Firmware.

a) Put a pendrive / external hdd, for example, in any usb port (app search for it).

  • Dont put any file in the usb unit.In this case, the program will use a special mac address (Air Address)
  • Or put a file called "mac.bin", this file will be your new mac. You need put inside in binary format your 6 bytes of your new mac, for example, DE 11 00 11 4A DE.

Ruin (working title) was last seen on the E3 2011 PlayStation stage, when the presenter wirelessly transferred his PS Vita game session to a PS3 without missing a frame of the action.

As technically impressive as Ruin's cross-platform compatibility is, I've learned that it's only the beginning of what co-developers Idol Minds and SCE San Diego Studios are planning for this ambitious multiplayer action-RPG.

Ruin is still early in development, but it's being eagerly anticipated for its PS Vita-to-PS3 cross-compatibility, addictive action-RPG gameplay, and expansive social features.

Ruin's developers are quietly building a wide, deep social network designed to keep you interacting whether you're on the couch, on the bus, or someplace in-between. Travis Williams, Ruin's energetic senior producer, walked me through the game's social ambitions several weeks ago at a media showing in New York City.
