210w ago - Blur features a racing style that incorporates real world cars and locales with arcade style handling and vehicular combat.
Available in Spring 2010 for PS3, XBox 360 and Windows, it follows a career mode where the story plays out through email messages sent through numerous fictional social networks- many of which reference more famous online servers.
Today Activision has released a new Blur video game trailer (below), and to quote:
"Its fast, its furious and its from the home of console arcade racing, yes its another trailer for Blur from Bizarre Creations.
Unlike previous trailers for the title that have featured the design studios staff and their enthusiasm for the title, this trailer looks more at the gameplay and speed of the game and a rockin soundtrack."
211w ago - Today Activision is reporting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 made $550 million in the first five days of the videogame's release.
It appears even in this challenging economic climate, Modern Warfare 2 is indeed a top seller setting a new entertainment industry record.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov 18, 2009 - Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues to shatter theatrical box office and video game sales records for five-day worldwide sell through in dollars.
The biggest entertainment launch in history set a new worldwide estimated five-day sell-through record of approximately $550 million, according to internal Activision estimates.
Modern Warfare 2's launch beat all previous first-and five-day entertainment industry box office, book and video game sell-through records:

213w ago - Just over a week ago it was reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for XBox 360 was leaked early to the Internet.
Since then, a pirate who advertised his services of Modern Warfare 2 and an XBox 360 before the street launch of the game has been busted by Activision with the help of an online detective they hired.
Apparently the whole process took less than a week for him to be located and busted, according to Rob Holmes, owner of IPCybercrime.
To quote from VentureBeat.com (linked above): "This kid was in a position to sell thousands of these," Holmes said.
Police interrogated the runner, who led them to Christian Del Amo's home. They then arrested Del Amo yesterday. Del Amo's attorney has not returned a call for comment.
The whole process, from finding the first tip to the bust, took less than a week. While the operation snagged a perpetrator, it didn't move fast enough to prevent the massive copying of the game on the torrents on the Internet.
"Hopefully it is a lesson," said Holmes. "If you try to do piracy on a large scale, you will get caught. When you use the Internet, you always leave tracks somewhere."
218w ago - Today Electronic Theatre (linked above) has confirmed that the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been delayed, and will launch on November 24 which is two weeks after its console counterparts.
There is no official reason for the delay yet, although it is speculated that it is due to insufficient manufacturing output to have enough PC copies ready by November 10 to meet demand or that Infinity Ward wants to implement more stringent copy-protection to combat piracy.
In related news, Activision UK managing director Andrew Brown has defended the publisher's decision to price Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at £55 RRP.
When Activision originally revealed the price, retailers warned of the effect that the increase would have on consumers, which is £5 more than other Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 titles on the market.
But Brown is confident that consumers will feel that they are getting a good deal with the content provided by Modern Warfare 2.
To quote from MCVUK: "At the end of the day, there is a spectrum of what people can afford and what people are prepared to spend. These things are key," said Brown.
"This is an industry where things cost a lot to develop...
