98w ago - Associate Producer Jenny Barbour has shared some videos straight from E3 2012 today of Wonderbook: Book of Spells which features writing from J.K. Rowling.

To quote: As you may have heard, PlayStation had some exciting news to reveal tonight.

For some time now, we have been working on a project called Wonderbook - an interactive book that uses Augmented Reality technology and PlayStation Move products to bring stories to life before your eyes.

The AR in Wonderbook has been developed by London Studio - the team behind EyeToy and EyePet. We believe that this is the most advanced AR out there, not least because it utilizes brand new technology which enables enhanced fidelity.

Wonderbook is a physical book that will act as a platform for a range of different titles that the whole family will enjoy. Games, reading experiences, adventures - the possibilities are endless for Wonderbook, and we can't wait to tell you more about the exciting things you can look forward to on this peripheral.

It truly is one book, with a thousand stories. In North America, Wonderbook will be available for $39.99 for both the book and Blu-ray game.

The first story is one we are extremely proud...

To quote: Last week I was in Rome with some friends from Capcom to attend their Captivate event, an annual showcase of what's in the pipeline for such game series as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Lost Planet.

While I could spend a couple of hundred words on fountains and pizza, there is a lot of game news to cover; here's a handy digest of all the best bits.

Resident Evil 6 is coming sooner than you think

We got to see an hour-long presentation on Resident Evil 6 that oozed with new information, including the announcement that the game's release date has been brought forward to October 2nd, 2012.

105w ago - FarSight Studios Lead Designer Bobby King has shared some new video footage of The Pinball Arcade, which scores on both the PS3 and PS Vita console today!

To quote: With the PS3 and PS Vita launches of The Pinball Arcade on PSN this week, I thought that I'd share a few more details about our game and offer some general gameplay tips.

The launch tables include one from each of the four major manufactures that we've licensed. Tales of the Arabian Nights (Williams), Ripley's Believe It or Not (Stern), Theatre of Magic (Bally), and Black Hole (Gottlieb).

Tales and Black Hole were part of the Pinball Hall of Fame games. We've spent a lot of time improving the physics and the graphics of our pinball engine over the past few years, so we feel that they're definitely worthy of updating.

When we first made the Gottlieb collection we gathered references from the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. We took a lot of pictures, recorded the audio with microphones, and took notes on the rules along with gameplay video reference. We actually re-programmed all of the rules from scratch.

That was a huge challenge! Now, we buy all of the tables and take them apart. Plus, we now have a bunch of physics...
