Video: LocoRoco Midnight Carnival Launches on PSP via PSN

To quote: Today is a grand day in Loco history as LocoRoco Midnight Carnival hits the PSN! As I've stated in my last few blog posts, Midnight Carnival is full of great new features to satisfy your "tilt and roll" needs! But one of the biggest things this game brings is... competition.

Now I'm not just talking about the multiplayer feature we went over on Monday where I took Kumi out. I'm talking about competition on a global scale! With Midnight Carnival, you can finally test your skills against the best in the world via the new online Global Leaderboard.





For those of you who can't find a LocoRoco opponents locally, check out the Global Leaderboard (accessible via Infrastructure mode) to compete with the top players from around the globe.

The top five players will be given the option to upload their replay save for bragging rights. Those who don't rank in the top 5 can download those replays for possible tips on improving their game. Talk about showing your LocoRoco supremacy!

For those of you who are sitting the fence, not to worry. We are releasing a Demo today, and a new PSP...

Hello all! It's pleasure for me to introduce this next clip for the PSP and PSPgo fans reading this out there. We know that a lot of fans have been waiting to finally get their hands on Chinatown Wars and we're thrilled to finally bring an even more refined version of this game to the PSP.

For anyone that hasn't heard anything about Chinatown Wars yet, I can tell you that it brings a unique, arcade-like approach to the series. We really rethought the way a portable GTA experience could work from the ground up. To quote: It's been four months since we officially took off the car cover on Gran Turismo for PSP at E3 back in June, and Gran Turismo makes its big debut on the PSP today. Thanks to all the dedicated GT fans for the support!

Free New Integration Lets Users Upload Photos to Their Facebook Profiles

REDMOND, Wash., Aug. 3, 2009 - Starting today, Nintendo DSiā„¢ owners have even more ways to share their experiences with friends and family. Using an Internet-connected Nintendo DSi system and the Nintendo DSi Camera application, Facebook members can take pictures with either of the system's two cameras and upload their photos directly to their Facebook profile. This function will be available after 5 p.m. Pacific with a free downloadable system update.

While reviewing pictures they've stored in the Nintendo DSi Camera album, which includes photos taken by users and manipulated using the built-in interactive lenses, users can simply tap the Facebook icon on the system's touch screen to instantly transmit photos to the user's Facebook profile. The user's system must be configured to a wireless broadband Internet connection for the transmission of photos.
