To quote, roughly translated: markus95 member of logic-sunrise, now gives us a mod of his own design for the fighting game Paintown. Little wakeup call, this 2D game based on the source code for MUGEN, was designed by Jon Rafkind and covered by PS3 and Scristopher lunuxx.
The aim of this game is, as with any beat them all, hitting the opponent as much as possible to reach the end of it. This mod includes three new characters, 5 new stages, a new menu, some improvements of characters and courses already and installation of the mod has been simplified in response to requests from several people.
Download and install pkg on your console via "Install Package Files".
Paintown 3.5 and the mod is installed!
The author wishes to thank Jon and Rafkind Schristopher for their help on this mod but lunuxx to create the pkg.
90w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has announced that the upcoming JFW DH PS3 CFW has been delayed, however, the Custom Firmware is now said to support 3.7+ games!
To quote, roughly translated: Well as the title says demons, DH JFW will suffer a delay in its launch date for several reasons, including that one of the devs in charge of openpstore this very busy with college, the other manager's manager suffered plugins a sporting accident and has his hand in plaster (blipi) so it works much more slowly.
Without the plugin manager can not control Thegra plugins, and without the openpstore can not be connected to the platform JFW updates for the DH.
It was all planned by the date specified on October 1, but with these problems we can not give an exact date (just a week, 15 days) do not know, what if I assure you is that the wait will be worth, and that once this JFW published an exploit that part (not out) you can play all future games (no matter the 37x version, etc), we will not say the method ... (this has been always the error publish the methods) but just the theme keys (do not make us as needed).
1saludo and to let you know I'm very bad demons, I think...
To quote: Here is another update to They Do Not Die 2.
I had added corpses and blood but I’ve removed them because I don’t know how to make them fade away progressively and I find it extremely distracting seeing them just disappear instantly (for performance reasons there needs to be a limit on how many can exist at any given time).
If anyone knows how to go about doing that I would greatly appreciate an example of it. Basically what I’m looking for is the PSL1GHT equivalent of glColor4f. I assume the answer involves shaders which I am sadly fairly ignorant about making and using.
Added two player co-op play (shared screen).
There are now cars and boxes scattered around the city.
Data is stored more efficiently in game saves and as a result of that saving and loading is faster.
92w ago - A year back we reported news of launching PSP games on a PS3 from Russian hacker GamerSuper, and today PlayStation 3 hacker Snowydew of Gitbrew confirms that PSP games are indeed mountable on PS3 but notes that only some are actually playable.
Below are some relevant Tweets from him on mounting Loco Roco (pictured below) for PSP on the PS3, and as always we will update this article as more details surface:
Yes psp games ARE mountable, but some are not playable. I'll try lumines to see if it works though.
rar the directories if you can and send it to "snowy" on the gitbrew irc, when i wake up i'll have a look
Games to be run on it. Time to look towards the psone classics then, that or lets see if i can mount actual psone games. This shall be fun
The loco roco i used was from a umd, not psn related. From the documentation i've been reading, it would require heavy modification for psp
I need the psn versions sadly , already installed is what i need / specific files that are in the directory.
The reason i say that, is because i own these copies. Hardcopies / psone discs and psn /ps3 installed...
92w ago - Last week we saw JFW DH CFW demonstrating PS3 game backups via TheGrid Plugin which no longer requires a backup manager, and today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has shared a video showcasing the Games and Apps GameBootScreen in JFW DH Custom Firmware.
To quote, roughly translated: As you may remember, back when we launched a game lanzabamos the gameboot PlayStation 3, Sony decided to remove it (not even that), but hey no problem.
In this video you can see games and apps launch this GameBootScreen JFW DH , you will see some failures in the video image positioning, but that in the final version will be finished

1saludo and I hope you like demons, and it is becoming less for the publication of JFW JFW DH and DH MA
