Video: Sony Previews FirstPlay Episode 7 for PlayStation 3

50°
232w ago - Today Sony's Associate Editor Nathan Ditum has shared a video preview of FirstPlay Episode 7, which arrives on PlayStation Network tomorrow.

To quote: Nathan Ditum here, back to tell you about this week's episode of FirstPlay, which will be on the Store this Wednesday.

It's a packed episode this week. First we have a preview of Rockstar's cold-eyed six-shoot 'em up, Red Dead Redemption.

We're putting together a very special review of the game for a future episode right now, and having played it for several hours already I can say it's looking absolutely fantastic. It's epic, atmospheric, and I shot a lot of animals.

We've also got reviews of [Register or Login to view links] big-hitting UFC 2010 Undisputed, and shin-shattering boarder sequel Skate 3.

That's alongside our usual batch of network highlights - this week including the best PSN shooters, a round-up of the comics store and a count-down of your best Just Cause 2 destruction videos - and our screenshot galleries, this week featuring Test Drive Unlimited 2.

That's all for our regular, cheaper-than-100-one-penny-sweets price of 99p, or just £8.99 for a 90 day subscription. A bargain - especially since,...

Cullen Gray ("OpsCom")
Force: NATO ISF
Age: 36
Leading the charge is Operations Commander, Cullen Gray. Born the son of a naval analyst and a civilian geologist, Cullen Gray's service record is the stuff of legends. While renowned for quickly and quietly resolving some of NATO's most tenuous situations, psychologically his profile is still something of a mystery.

Routine profiling shows that he is withdrawn and cynical, choosing to socialize little with colleagues and showing a distinct lack of empathy for those unwilling to comply with his directives.

Park Yoon-Hee ("Forty-Five")
Force: South Korean 707th Special Missions Battalion
Age: 30
Park Yoon-Hee got her start in the Southern Korean 707th Special Mission Battalion. Within eighteen months she was attached to the 45th Special Forces Brigade after the Korean military relaxed restrictions for female...

233w ago - There have been countless PSP2 rumors in circulation, from forecasted features to the graphics chip, but according to MCVUK.com (linked above) it appears that analysts may be correct as the PlayStation Portable 2 is rumored to be Sony's big surprise at E3 2010.

At a time when the PSP is languishing in Western markets - and its most recent iteration, the PSPgo, is falling flat - it is being speculated that publishers are laying the ground for an offensive on a brand new iteration of Sony's handheld.
