To quote: The first wave of fall titles promises to deliver endless amounts of gaming across all PlayStation fronts.

With controversy surrounding Ninja Theory's new Devil May Cry, they have nothing to worry about when it comes to their latest title on the PlayStation 3 – Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is receiving a very warm welcome among game reviewers.

Konami throws a jab and an uppercut with the devastating combo of Castlevania and Def Jam Rapstar this week, both landing on the PS3. The PlayStation Network delivers dual-stick shooting in the form of Alien Breed: Impact, The PSone Import Store gets two new Japanese classics, and PlayStation minis rounds out the pack with five new games hitting the digital front.

Sony Unveils New PS3 Greatest Hits Titles Available for $29.99

204w ago - Sony's PlayStation 3 Associate Marketing Manager Ami Sheth has unveiled a new selection of PS3 Greatest Hits titles today which are available now for $29.99 each.

To quote: We have some exciting news for those of you looking to expand your PS3 game library. Back in April we announced new PS3 Greatest Hits titles, and today we are adding seven more PS3 titles to the ever-growing "Greatest Hits" library.

These latest titles will be available at retailers in U.S. and Canada for only $29.99 (MSRP). With our ongoing expansion of the "Greatest Hits" library, now including more than 40 titles, we're continuing to give PS3 owners more to enjoy while spending less.

Sony PlayStation Moves Into New Home in Dublin City Centre

205w ago - SCE Ireland Marketing Executive Grainne Murray has announced today that Sony PlayStation has moved into a new home in Dublin City Centre.

To quote: To celebrate the launch of [Register or Login to view links] in [Register or Login to view links], we've transformed vacant premises on Dublin's South William Street into a state-of-the-art gaming zone, the PlayStation Hub.

50 South William Street has been converted into an intimate gaming paradise with the PlayStation Hub being kitted out with six demo areas dedicated to PlayStation Move, and a separate gaming zone where visitors will have a chance to preview some exciting new PS3 game releases, including [Register or Login to view links] and [Register or Login to view links].

The PlayStation Hub is open until Sunday 14 November and admission is free. Everyone who visits the PlayStation Hub will also be in with a chance to win a [Register or Login to view links] and PlayStation Move starter pack.

Video: Re-imaging of Dante, and the New Devil May Cry for PS3

205w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Rey Gutierrez has made available a video today on the re-imaging of Dante in the new Devil May Cry for PS3.

To quote: "I remember calling it Developers May Cry, it looked that good." God of War III's game director Stig Asmussen confesses in the upcoming God of War Directors Live event, when asked about his art direction days on the original God of War.

Devil May Cry; its headliner, Dante; and the entire DMC mythology have sprung installments on multiple consoles, comic books and an anime series. Dante is an iconic figure in the video game world, so imagine the reaction when Lead Producer Alex Jones and Chief Creative Director Tameem Antoniades were tapped to change everything we know about Devil May Cry and start from scratch. The result? DmC.

Clearly, [Register or Login to view links] and [Register or Login to view links] were anticipating a strong reaction and fan skepticism, but after my conversation with the new DmC team, I grew more confident that Dante and the cast of DmC are in good hands.

I don't know what this says about me, other than that I'm going to be a very sleepy young man for a few weeks after Fallout: New Vegas is released.
