To quote: Summer is just starting to sizzle, and we have some amazing content offers coming to PlayStation Plus that will keep you gaming all through the hottest season of the year.

Before we get to the offers available starting July 26th and August 2nd, we are thrilled to let you know that the critically-acclaimed title Limbo is now available for $11.99 (a 20% discount) to all PlayStation Plus members, until August 1st.

You may also notice a change in the look of the Plus category on PlayStation Store. We've updated the design to make it easier for members to navigate through the 100+ offers available, and grouped everything together in a way to easily identify what's being offered. Here's a rundown on what you'll see on PlayStation Store's Plus page:

New Releases: Find the weekly Tuesday updates for PlayStation Plus. We'll still feature the bigger bi-weekly offers which will cover the monthly free games, along with discounts and exclusives, and there will continue to be smaller updates throughout the month.

Video: One Epic Game by Grip Games Hits PSN Tomorrow

155w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska has posted up a video trailer today announcing that One Epic Game is hitting PSN tomorrow.

To quote: My name is Jakub from [Register or Login to view links], the folks who gave you MiniSquadron and [Register or Login to view links], and I'd like to tell you about our next project - One Epic Game, which is now being released via PlayStation Store tomorrow.

All of gaming's most notorious stereotypes finally make an appearance in one epic game - aliens, zombies, fantasy, World War II and nuclear wasteland. [Register or Login to view links] puts you in the shoes of Alpha Dog, another muscular, one dimensional action hero with the task to negotiate with the enemies the only way they understand - a bullet in the brain!

As you have probably guessed by now, everything about One Epic Game is intentionally over-the-top. The name, the action, the main hero, humour... One Epic Game is a parody of all the gaming stereotypes we see in almost every action game. But it does not stop only with games, as you'll see us pay homage to some popular movies and much more.

One Epic Game is a minis game and will...

European PSN Game Store Updates for July 13, 2011

156w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath is here with this weeks European PlayStation Store updates today, as follows:

Dead Nation is now available to try before you buy, in case you were still on the fence, and we've also got a demo for PixelJunk Shooter 2, so you can now give that a whirl with no money down.

There's also some pretty awesome DLC coming today in the form of a new case for LA Noire, and the 'anticipated for as long as I can remember and incredibly awesome' Final Fantasy VII character costumes for LBP2!

A quiet one this week then, sorry about that. Hopefully there are some bits and pieces for you here and now, and if not you can save your pennies for the release of Limbo on the 20th.

I'll be around for comments from tomorrow morning as I'm working on some promotions for you lovely people this afternoon, but since it's a quiet week for you all, hand on heart I'll make time to respond to lots of your questions. See you later!
