189w ago - SCEE Home Community Lead Alex Weekes has shared a video preview today of the Iron Man Flying Game which will be hitting PlayStation Home on Thursday.
To quote: On Thursday Paramount Pictures International and AUDI AG will be launching a brand new Iron Man mini-game located in the Audi Space. As the first in-world game ever made for a film in Home, this is definitely worth your time to visit!
You will have the chance to throw on the Iron Man suit and pilot your way through a tricky skyscraper obstacle course, picking up arc reactors and dodging the mines to power your way onto the leaderboard.
If you make the leaderboard, then do your best to stay on it; the Top 10 scorers (when the game closes at the end of June 2010) will be rewarded with an Iron Man suit to keep. Do you have the raw talent - or sheer dedication - to prove that you have what it takes to wear the Iron Man suit?
To wet your appetites, check out the video below:
Don't forget you can also grab a free Iron Man 2 t-shirt by completing the quiz available within the Audi Space. There are also plenty of clips, viral videos and trailers available to watch in the cinema.

190w ago - While reading a story on CNN about rare video games, Tanner Sandlin of Austin, Texas, recognized one of the games - Air Raid for the Atari 2600. He found the thirteenth known copy of the game in his garage and put it on eBay.
It sold last Sunday for $31,600, the second-highest price ever paid for a video game.
Sandlin bought the game when he was 11 or 12 years old at a store called Tuesday Morning in Arlington, Texas. The store bought overstocked or undersold goods from other retailers and sold the items at a discount.
To quote: "Sandlin's eBay auction ended on April 10, 2010 at about 10:15 p.m. EST. With only 5 minutes to go, the highest bid was $14,600. It sat at this price until the very last few seconds, when it jumped to $17,528, and then made a giant leap to $31,500. The final bid was $31,600.
This sets a new record price for the game, blowing away the previous record of $3,000. That also makes it the second-highest price ever paid for a video game cartridge, just behind the $43,300 paid for a factory-sealed copy of Stadium Events for the Nintendo back in February."
192w ago - Not long ago we reported on a PSP Firmware 6.20 Patapon 2 Save Game Exploit, and today firespike8 has posted from the SVN both a binary and source alongside a demo video for the PSPgo Half Byte Loader Beta 1.0 and game pack.
The game pack includes all games/apps compatible with PSP 3000 and PSPgo, and was tested on 6.20 Assassins Creed PSP and Gran Turismo Edition.
However, only a small amount of homebrew works, other homebrew (like emulators and LUA-powered PSP homebrew) do not work yet.
To quote: This is the half byte loader pack WITH working and maybe working games inside. It contains everything you need for running the eloader except the patapon 2 demo which I have provided a link to in the readme.
I made the instructions as simple and noob proof as possible so there will hopefully be alot less complaints/questions.
