174w ago - DDR Music Composer Naoki Maeda has announced today that DanceDanceRevolution is coming to PS3 complete with PlayStation Move support, and those who wish to check out a demo can do so today in LA.
To quote: My name is Naoki Maeda, and I'm the Music Composer and one of the creators of DanceDanceRevolution! If you're not familiar with DanceDanceRevolution, it's the cult favorite arcade game and pioneering dance game that started it all!
If you followed the franchise, you know that we've been a part of the PlayStation family for years now. In fact, we recently teamed with the SCEA and the state of West Virginia to bring DanceDanceRevolution with the PlayStation 2, to all of the public schools in the state of West Virginia.
This program, designed to combat childhood obesity, was a big hit – with Governor Joe Manchinpraising it and Michelle Obama even stating President Obama has DanceDanceRevolution.
With each year and each iteration of DanceDanceRevolution, we work to bring new and fun challenges to players – which leads us to today, where I'm happy to announce DanceDanceRevolution...

177w ago - For those who'd like to see how the development of Sony's PlayStation Move PS3 motion controller has progressed since E3 2010, today DualShockers (linked above) have shared a fresh tech demo from SCEA's recent NYC media event.
To quote: "Yesterday we were fortunate enough to hang out with our buddy Anton Mikailov from SCEA at Sony's Holiday media preview event in NYC.
We caught up with Anton and the PS Move a while back, and although he had some cool stuff to show us last time around, this time I was absolutely floored.
Anton showcased some never before seen PS Move tech demos; the same demos that are being shown to 3rd party developers and publishers in order to showcase what the PS Move is all about.
The first demo in the clip, is one you may have seen but just wait until you see the "chameleon" and "Rts" demos. Just think about all of the potential. Amazing is the only way to describe it."
Those interested can check out the PlayStation Move PS3 Tech Demo from SCEA's NYC Event below!

178w ago - Activision's Social Media Manager Dan Amrich has announced that beginning today the Blur multiplayer PS3 demo is live on PlayStation Network.
To quote: Today, the PlayStation 3 demo of Blur became available in the PlayStation Store – and you know what comes standard?
Pools of lightning bolts, explosive mines, bursts of nitro speed, and big glowing red balls of homing-missile danger. This is the kind of arcade-style combat racing that gets my motor running.
Oh, and the mileage is excellent – I've been playing Blur for weeks now and I'm still not bored.
The Blur multiplayer demo gives you a pretty sizeable chunk of what the game has to offer. A dozen real-world cars, including I'll-never-own-it-but-I-can-drool rides like the Lotus Exige Cup 260 and Ford GT.
Six tracks in two gameplay modes and seven mods that let you tweak the game mechanics to match your style of play all eight of the chaotic power-ups, and the ability to boast about your skills to friends on the PlayStation Network with a single button press. (The full retail version also lets you brag on Facebook and Twitter.)
